We arrived at Mod Pizza in Castle Rock over an hour before closing, expecting a quick, dinner. Instead, we ended up wasting 20 minutes in line watching one of the employees shut down half the prep bar, which left only one side operating. This led to a backup in the line and employees just standing around because there wasn’t enough space to make pizzas.
My wife asked the manager what was going on, and his response was, “I want to go home sometime today.” Seriously? That was enough for us—we left and found somewhere else to eat.

We waited in line for over 20 minutes while several employees, including the manager, stood around and closed down half of the food prep line — likely so they could leave faster. When I asked the manager why they were covering up half the ingredients instead of serving customers, he told me “I’d like to go home sometime today.”
I finally left at 8:11 p.m., after arriving at 7:45 p.m. There is no reason it should take over an hour to close a restaurant, especially with multiple staff members on-site. Their behavior showed a complete lack of respect for customers still waiting to be served.

Very disappointing experience. The team working the counter seemed more interested in chatting with each other than actually taking my order. They looked like high school kids, and while I don’t mind that, the lack of professionalism was frustrating I had to repeat myself multiple times just to get my order through because they weren’t paying attention.
To make matters worse, they accidentally dropped my pizza on the ground. Accidents happen, but when they remade it, it was completely undercooked. I had to finish baking it at home. For a place that’s supposed to be quick and convenient, this was a total fail from start to finish.

To much cheese didn't know that was possible, not enough toppings, staff was rude when ask to change gloves for allergy reasons
Mod used to be awesome. I assume it's company wide, but first time at this location, first time in about 6 months having mod, and it's terrible. Cafeteria quality ingredients.

We love this place for bigger family gatherings because everyone can eat what they prefer and everyone pays for their own meal, (no issues with splitting the bill with family). The thicker crust pizza was good for a change. We all sit outside on the covered porch and the kids can run around in the adjacent plaza while the adults visit. It makes it a lot easier to spend a longer time as a big family since the kids are outside and able to move around.

Very disappointed. There were hardly any toppings on any of the pizza. We ordered a crispy crust and a regular crust, they were exactly the same. We ordered for pick up at 6pm and they had very obviously been sitting for a long time. We took them home and had to put them back in the oven. Wish I had read more reviews before having over priced pizza.
