We like Tasty House over some of the others in town. They have a good orange chicken (spicy) and sesame for the mild flavors, and they always help me find something interesting and new when I ask! This is our Go-to.

Tasty House is probably some of the better Asian food in Castle Rock. Everything comes out good but just doesn't taste quite right. Some things on the menu really shine, but some of the staples miss the mark.

Was there last night. Seem like the old owner is back. Food and service gotten even better. we had their homemade dumpling pad thai and sesame chicken. Their Dumpling was juicy and packed with meats. Hard to find homemade dumpling nowadays. Dumpling is a must get!

Massive portions, good price, great food, and phenomenal service! Food came out very quickly and piping hot. Nice soothing music and a very classic ambiance. My server was Andy and he was everything that you'd want out of a server.
Consistent, good service, have never had a problem with delivery. So many Chinese restaurants are the same, at least Tasty House offers consistent quality timely service a nice food.

So last year, we were told to have a Christmas reservation, but they were empty when we showed up. This year, we didn't make (or think about) a reservation in advance. We arrived to see a ton of people waiting. As it turned out, most were waiting for their takeout orders, and the kitchen was really backed up. Even though we didn't have a reservation (but will try again next year to make one), we were seated before too long. The takeout crowd thinned, and our order came out fairly fast. Soups and egg rolls came out relatively quick and are as good as ever. Mongolian beef was good and not as spicy as usual. Orange chicken was a little overcooked and was somewhat of a disappointment. Udon noodles with chicken had a lot more vegetables and chicken than noodles. All was pretty good but not as stellar as usual. Service was surprisingly prompt and attentive, considering how busy they were, especially when we got there.
