Man, you’ve changed. Decent food but sloooooow service and wait staff. Although, gotta say the alfredo was lacking seasoning and flavor which is not what we’re used to here. And what’s with the boxes stacked in the corner? Buffalo Trace, Lunetta and RNDC boxes occupied an entire wall of seating. Very odd vibe for a Saturday night. Again…SLOW. So SLOW! 40 minute wait and we were the only people in here when we ordered. On a positive note, we got to watch nearly half a game of hockey while we waited. Really, we’ve enjoyed eating here for the past three years and reeeally hope this is a one off. Judging by the lack of customers we saw during our meal, I’m hoping this place isn’t on a downward slide…

Update 2024: I finally gave them another try. While the food was OK, there entire bar was filled with boxes and nowhere to sit. I ordered a beer, only to find out they were out. So I ordered another one that they said was popular. That very well may be as I know the brewery and beer. But this one tasted off. I think they have very dirty beer lines and therefore giving an off flavor to an otherwise good beer. I couldn't even finish it.

On the positive side; The hostess was very accommodating, so that's a plus.

Old review: I wanted to support and like this restaurant, but sadly I cannot give a higher rating. I ordered 2 kids meals, 2 appetizers, and a small pizza, to go. It took over 30 minutes to get my food, and they did not give me the drinks or cookies for the kids meals, and the pizza was over cooked (burnt edges).

I love Italian especially a good Calzone and I’ve had some good ones. The Old North Calzones did not disappoint. They’re BIG! The crust was thin and the edges weren’t think bunched up dough. My wife and I had the Mediterranean and our kids split the meat lovers and I’m surprised there was enough left over to take home. Please support this restaurant.

Wow, what a great hidden gem for Italian food. The stuffed shells were filled with the softest, most velvety, flavorful filling I have had out here in Colorado for stuffed shells. The meatballs were some of the best I’ve had….sorry mom. Great tasting and massive calzones. Definitely a return visit is foreseen in the future and hopefully many return visits.

One of the best Italian places in Castle Rock. Great food with generous portions and friendly staff. At the moment (8/30/2024) they are take out or delivery only but don't let this keep you from ordering, their food is incredible!

The Old North End serves some of the best if not the best Italian in the southern metro area. From bruschetta to perfectly cooked pasta to pizza with fine ingredients and a wonderful crust to desserts, all the choices are very fine. Service is very friendly. 5 stars.

Just because you put red-and-white checkered tablecloths and bottles of chianti on your tables doesn't give you the right to call your establishment an Italian restaurant. As soon as I walked into the place, I had misgivings, as the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a burger joint. There was classic rock music playing and Harley-Davidson plaques on the wall -- hardly what you think an Italian restaurant's atmosphere should be like. The waiter was some teenage boy with a baseball cap on his head, and his mannerisms made it obvious that this was some summer job for him. When he brought bread to the table, it looked as if it had been bought off the shelf at a supermarket; it had none of the taste or texture that one would expect in an Italian eatery. When the food was served, the first thing that caught my eye was the sauce. It was not the color of fine Italian tomato sauce, looking more like something you'd find on top of Mexican food, nor did it have the aroma or taste that one associates with Italian food. About the only good thing I could say is that the portions were large. I was hoping for a better dining experience than this, as the dearth of good Italian food in the Castle Rock/Parker area is regrettable.
