We ordered take-out. Chef actually took the time to get on the phone with me. Lady who answered the phone was very interested in providing good service, but due to recent changes to the menu handed me off to the chef. I thought this was amazing! I'm sorry I did not get the chef's name, but he was very kind, accommodating and our meal was wonderful!! Highly recommend! Food was excellent!

Stopped by while the traffic was high, this was a great find. The food and service were excellent. The garlic bread was amazing, perfectly seasoned. The dipping olive oil also had great seasoning. The pasta was amazing and well portioned. The service was excellent, we were served by everyone walking by. Totally recommend this restaurant. Make a reservation, and that says something.

Me and my husband went there a week ago and got very disappointed, dinner costed us $180 for 2 (1 small salad, 1 app, 2 beers and 2 entrees) I ordered "Shrimp and Lobster fra Diavolo" pasta for $44 plus 1 crab cake for $7 and my husband ordered "Shrimp, Scalopes, Artichoke" pasta for $38 plus 1 crab cake... My dish gave me heartburn right away so I only ate about 20% of it, lobster tasted like it was from the can and was very old and chewy, Shrimp tasted old as well, crab cake tasted like there were only bread crumbs with no crab in it and was overcooked. My husband's scallops were overcooked and tasted rubbery... We sat at the bar area and could see the kitchen, we saw that all their food was precooked and pasta was overcooked and reheated to serve. Definitely not worth $50 a plate! That night I got horrible stomach ache and diarrhea that kept me up all night... which tells me their food was old or expired. Will not be returning to this restaurant for sure!

A fun little place right here in Castle Rock-- quaint and authentic. Love the family owned feel in here and the food is incredible. This is one of our favorite spots to come at least a couple times a month!

I LOVE this place! I believe it's locally owned, which is important. They have parking. They have AMAZING food, incredible waitstaff and it's not a wall of sound in the dining area. When the place is packed it can get a little loud, but still better than most restaurants. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious, wine is good, staff is nice, & it's a quite cute spot. Definitely will be back.

We had a wonderful quiet dinner on a snowy night. Many people canceled but we were happy we went. Tasty Chicken Marsala, mahi mahi and shrimp and scallops in linguini! Delicious, we'll be back!

A birthday dinner ruined by a waitress whose attention we could not get--and when we finally did with a low wave--she got visibly angry with us. We sure had a memorable time having the waitress punish us for the rest of the dinner by glowering and tersely or, not speaking to us at all, at each service point. Here's a quote that they can use out of context: Truly an unforgettable experience! To us, the punishment seems way, way out of proportion for our venial sin of being forced to do a low wave to get her attention. I ask what else can you do when the waitress is inattentive and seemingly avoiding eye contact? I would add that restaurant was something like 20% full at the time, so that was not a factor. Because we used to frequent this restaurant every few weeks we would leave substantial tips as makes sense at one of your regular places that you like. So that's not it either.

We stumbled upon this little family-owned gem recently and wow, we're blown away! It's like stepping into a cozy, welcoming home where every dish feels like it's made with love. They treat you like you're a regular from the moment you walk in. Fantastic handmade dishes, attentive service and a great time!

Great Italian food in Castle Rock. It is not in the mix of all of the other restaurants, so we have always sat right away. This is a muat try if you haven't gone yet!

Disappointed . Server Michael was good. We were seated at 7:15 and food took so long we didn’t have time to eat. We had a 9 pm commitment. Calamari was excellent and it went down hill from there. Cioppino had a bitter taste, bolognese was so so. Guests had soup which they took several bites of and chose not to take home. It’s been years since we had been there. The chairs are so low that our guest could have shoveled her food right into her mouth! I’m 5’8 and my chest was at table top. With so many choices, we probably won’t be back.

I was visiting my Mom in Castle Rock and tried Vista Vino for the first time. The ambiance is lovely. Great setting for a date. Loved the dim lighting and overall classy but homey vibe. Tables were a bit close together so if you're seeking a romantic venue, come a bit early or late. Service was stellar. Our waitress, Michellle was kind and attentive. The owner also stopped by to chat. The food was good/ok. I wish I could say great but the arancini was under seasoned and could have been more golden (fried longer). I've had arancini in southern Italy and Sicily and they are usually bigger and more aggressively seasoned. The sauce on the side was more like a salsa than an authentic tomato sauce. The flavor profile just seemed off. My bison bolognese was better but the ratio of pasta to sauce was less than balanced. Reheating the night after, it was very good. My mom enjoyed her rigatoni with sausage and meatballs but complained the sausage was too spicy and the meatballs were flat. I tried the meatball and was underwhelmed. This dish had the opposite issue: too little sauce the pasta was dry. I would definitely try this place again and would order something different. I wanted to LOVE if but the food was just meh on this occasion.
