Everything is scratch made but what makes that so special here is there is love in the food. As a group we were eating bites of shrimp toast and everyone closed their eyes and said omfg and was quiet while they all enjoyed every second of it. The bone marrow. Perfection. Pasta is made fresh. I don’t know how to explain it other than, pretend your French great grandmother was a renown chef and just made things in the kitchen for you. “We have been big fans of The Alley since it opened. Excellent food, cocktails and service. Today the food and cocktails were excellent as usual. The exception was our server. I will grant that he had a lot of tables, but saw him once to take our order and then served our nachos with a couple napkins. Never checked in until we had already received the check from someone helping him out. I had to go to bartender to get utensils and plates. Bartender and the person helping the server were wonderful. Will come again, but will likely sit at the bar.“

Parking: Dont park in front of the bar because the laundry mat has claim on the whole lot and will tow, but there is plenty of street parking around thats free.“

“This place is so cool! I went on the weekend with the bottomless mimosas. The concept is cool and the atmosphere is great. I would say that the mimosas weren't really prepped for bottomless but it could have been that everyone seemed interested in their projects. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. “Stopped in today for a quick drink. I ordered the “I got U Bae” drink because it has ube flavored liquor in it. It tastes like a vanilla rum with an ube aftertaste. Not bad!

“If you are looking for the perfect Dive Bar this is your spot!! We love coming in for Happy Hour, the occasional free pool day(2 tables) and sometimes Thursday night karaoke or Saturday Bingo! The staff is always awesome and the owner is a sweetheart. We love supporting local small businesses!“

“Whispers quickly became my second home. I've been a regular for over a year and was going sometimes 2 or 3 times a week for a while. Every KJ has their own vibe and every night of the week offers something different. All of the employees are amazing to the point that I have found myself almost ready to throw hands for the bouncers about people being disrespectful lol (sorry jay, I know you had it handled). The drinks, are cheap and I promise you get way more than you pay for. Strong as heck but I'm not gunna complain about more booze for less money. I love all of the different vibes that come in and all the different people. I never feel over or under dressed and even the times things get crazy (as any dive bar does) the staff are ON TOP of it. I've made friends with other regulars and employees and even though I'm not in as often whispers is 10/10 my favorite place to be.
Also the food is pizza lol stop complaining about food from a place that doesn't have a kitchen. That pizza slaps after a few drinks anyways and they've never had an issue about people ordering food there either which is honestly super cool.“

“Been at this location maybe 3 times during my 12 years in Denver, CO. It is definitely unique for a bar, food is pretty good, and the employees are great. Never was a regular there as I had to work for a living. Most of the patrons that went there were retired older folks who like the "Cheers" crowd, like in the TV show.“
