This was the worst barbecue I’ve ever had and one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The corn bites were liquid in the middle. The pork ribs were absolutely flavorless and tough. The lamb was so dry and flavorless it was like having sawdust in your mouth. I only ate 1/3 of my meal but I used a tablespoon of salt trying to save it. Gross. I’m embarrassed to say we paid for this. We were in a group and I didn’t want to start any drama so I just let it go. Today the guest of honor told me he loved his birthday trip to Colorado except for this disgusting meal and I felt inspired to post this.

Brought our family from Mississippi here. Stood at the front for a good 7 minutes as the 2 waitresses walked by and forth as if we were not there. Not the friendliest upon arrival.Finally we were acknowledged and seated. After 10 minutes our order was taken. 45 min later our food was served. Never got an apology or your food will be right out. Good food. Horrible service. Not sure if I'll be back.

The service was good! It had a very cozy feel on the inside. We shared the BBQ Sampler. It was enough food for two adults. The ribs and pulled pork were very good! The mac and cheese had a really good flavor, but it was really dry. We added bbq sauce to the mac and cheese, and it really helped!
Parking: Parking lot right next to the restaurant. There are plenty of spots to park in.

Terrible service, these people have no idea what good customer service is or they just don’t care, the two waitresses are very slow on top of that they are grumpy and rude. Food is just okay.

Unfortunately, this place is not good we were hoping based on the reviews, but we are wrong. Servers were two older women that seem overwhelmed and very unhappy to be working there. The food order was incorrect, it took at least 45 minutes to get our food, which lacked taste. They were out of at least two items that we wanted to order. The mixed drinks were weak. This is not a good place to spend your money. We do not recommend this restaurant.
Love this BBQ - ribs are amazing and definitely try the pig wings!!! I first went to JKQ BBQ couple years ago - they moved shortly after and was soooo happy to find them again!!!
