AKARUI SUSHI & WOK

I can't comment on the sushi but I had the very best cheese and crab wontons I have ever had at Akarui Sushi & Wok today! I also had pork soup dumplings that were very good. The atmosphere is nice and Hector took very good care of me. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes, but more wontons for sure!

Been looking for a new place to call Sushi home since our old favorite isn't around anymore. Been consuming lots of Sushi for the past 20 years, their Eel, Tuna and Salmon were all well rolled, properly flavor balanced, rice was cooked to perfection, fresh, Miso soup was perfect consistency, thickness, flavor and salt level.

Absolutely recommend this place!! Service was fantastic as well, highly recommended. This is the way Sushi should be!

The spicy duck noodle soup tasted very good, but it was extremely difficult to eat. I was constantly picking tiny bones out of my mouth. I would come back here, but I would not order this dish again.

Colorado Springs!! This is a must try. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming but you walk into an Asian fusion vibe. The food is amazing, fresh and large portions. The atmosphere is awesome and the establishment is so clean! Wonderful friendly service. Great sushi too.

We’ve been on the hunt for the perfect sushi spot in North Colorado Springs for years and we finally found it at Akarui Sushi! We’ve been regulars for over a year now, visiting 1–2 times a month (and honestly, I wish we could go more!). Every time we come, we’re blown away by the consistently high quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the fast, friendly service at this family owned restaurant!

The sushi is top-tier super fresh, creative and beautifully prepared. You can tell they take pride in the presentation and chosen ingredients. The dumplings are absolutely delish! Flavorful, and definitely a must-order every time. We always find ourselves eyeing other dishes too as they are delivered to other tables. Everything looks incredible, and the menu has so much variety that we’re excited to try more each visit.

The service is always quick and personable. We’ve never had to wait for a table, but honestly, if we ever do, we’ll happily wait. Akarui Sushi is that good. If you’re searching for your go-to sushi spot in the Springs, this is it. You won’t regret it!

Not many people there, 1st sign. Couldn't completely understand the menu. Took forever to figure out what we wanted. We came very close to just leaving. Way over priced.
