Amanda's is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants with great food & great service. I had the chilli releno & chicken enchilada. it came with cole slaw, beans & rice. I also had a strawberry margarita. Dinner came with chips & the most awesome salsa ever! Rosa was my waitress. She gave me great suggestions & the service was awesome. She was attentive & very sweet. decided to give this place another try after a very disappointing experience. we live very close and used to love Amanda's but the food, service, and drinks are terrible now. Seafood enchiladas came out cold. our drinks came out long after our entrees came out (which came out with our appetizer). Manager couldn't be bothered to come to our table, he just discounted our food instead of speaking with us.
Their prep cook, Joseph Patrick, is extremely homophobic and likes to harass people about it online. If you are LGBTQ I would steer clear of this location. For all we know he may do something to your food if he sees you are LGBTQ. It's dangerous times with these hate filled people. Better safe than sorry.
