It is truly an authentic Mexican place that we stumbled upon while visiting Pikes Peak, Colorado. With their patio dining by the creek and trees, impressive menu, delicious food and wonderful service, this place is my #1 Mexican restaurant away from home
Amanda's used to be one of our favorite destinations when visiting the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs area but it has really slipped in the past couple of visits. When we arrived we waited so long to be seated my wife finally went to go find someone. And the food quality just isn't the same; the prices are somewhat higher, understandably, but also the portions are significantly smaller. Got calamari tacos the first taco was super fishy and didnt taste like calamari the second one was great was sat at the entrance of the restaurant which was not ideal a couple girlfriends and i woulda loved not being stared at by people coming in it was early too not alot of peoplke were eating in the restaurant alot were outside so idk why they sat us front and center to everyone walking in.
