Anthony's Pizza & Pasta

So i spent a total of $58.83 for delivery on a pizza and wings. I waited the 45 minutes and checked my email and it said it was delivered which was not, especially with specific instructions i gave so there was no confusion. I worked in the food industry and if you are dealing with a guest about a complaint you give them your attention or of your busy you communicate that and pit them on hold. I just got off the phone with Hunter and i explained what happened and just got silence over the phone until i said hello? This continues the entire conversation. Getting a refund was so much easier than trying to talk to them about what happened and how they could fix this because he literally would never respond until i waited and asked hello or tell me that it sucks my delivery never showed up without any resolution. Was super excited to try this place out especially cause of the good reviews but the customer service was awful so i dont know of ill try this place again :/.

So I can consider myself an expert in pizza . I am from the Brooklyn , Queens area in NY . Lived there 30 yrs . So unless you’ve live in the Northeast / Chicago area you know nothing about pizza . Sorry . This is the closet that I have gotten to as far as authenticity concerning pizza . The oil , the size , the dough , cheese etc . Everything is within 90% at least . I grew up walking into pizzerias eating pizza . I know .

Used to be my favorite pizza. $30 for a small pizza with 2 toppings, is crazy. Especially since the last 2 times there were very little toppings. Barely saw any sausage on the pizza.

Out of most soda in the machine. We were given a can of coke to substitute. Counters and tables are filthy. Was afraid the quality of the pizza wouldn’t be good but it still was decent. They have a bar inside but we were told they are behind on liquor licenses. The place was empty.

Don't order the Sicilian, it's just a long of bread with way too much cheese and no flavor. You're better of just going to pizza hut.

I like this place however it could use some TLC and better attention to detail like clean tables. Also those rusted tables and chairs are not a great look sitting at the front door it's been that way for at least a year. No reason for that this long.

The food was not great. Soda machine was out of all sodas. Everything was pretty bland and overpriced. We tried a few things, such as both styles of pizza, wings, salad, and spaghetti. I myself had the shrimp scampi pizza and a bacon and bleu salad. Worst part, I ended up being violently ill with food poisoning. I do not recommend.

Just not good food. Salad was OK. Order a slice of Neapolitan with sausage and mushrooms… The mushrooms were raw— Pretty much an afterthought. Wife ordered a slice of the Sicilian pizza… Totally reminded us of the old middle school cafeteria French bread pizza. Super dry, flavorless, not nearly enough cheese and overall unappealing. Ordered the cheese raviolis as well… What a huge disappointment. Super bland and undercooked pasta. Chains like Pizza Hut and Domino’s will give you double the quality for half the price. Not going back.

The food tastes great and tried a few different slices of pizza. The guy behind the counter was terrible the first time I went. Went back again and he was a lot better but does not know anything to answer any questions. Always super fast and would recommend to try.

Mackenzie at the front is really nice and helpful. She’s super bubbly and helpful in getting your order placed in a timely manner. Also, the cooks were extremely efficient and deserve praise for producing some outstanding pizza quickly without sacrificing quality. All in all, it is a great experience.
