The food is alright but the quantity of food compared to the price i spent bro this place is pricey. I ordered bbq pork rice it cost me $17 i got pork about 6 pieces with 4 slices of cucumber and white rice is less than half of my togo
Wes down in the springs and we'd been wanting to check out The Kopi Den for ourselves after friends brought it to our place in Denver and we thought it was delicious. The food is not bad and Malaysian food is very niche, especially here in Colorado. The food is also not good. I have had better from home chefs. Compounding this is the portions are very small (even for a large) and prices are a bit elevated for what you get.As well, not everything on the menu was available....
Mind > Blown! I have been complaining about the lack of good foreign (ethnic) food in Colorado Springs every time I'm here visiting family for YEARS! This tiny hole-in-the-wall has actually given me hope for the potential to see a growth in culinary culture for this city. Order the laksa and be ready to sweat, then be ready to come back for more! Curry puffs made my taste buds sing. This will be a multi-visit regular for me, every return to COS going forward.
