Build your plate. I had brisket, hot links, okra and fries. This is the best restaurant okra I’ve ever had. Being from Mississippi, I know fried okra. The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.

Was there at 11:00 today. Food looked like leftovers. Half of the food bins were half full, had dirty ladles in them and dried out meat. We really was hoping for some good BBQ. Will not be back or recommend it to friends.

Really good bbq with lots of seating. Customer service was great. I always drove by but haven't stopped in until today and glad we did. They have daily specials and today was the shotgun spud which is loaded potato with BBQ and fixings. The beans have a nice sweet BBQ taste and the coleslaw is creamy..though could use a little kick I added pepper and boom fixed...and very creamy Mac n cheese. Definitely a must try.
We decided to stop on a whim. And we weren’t disappointed! The servings are so large, we had left overs for lunch the next day. The men behind the counter served with a smile.

This is easily the best BBQ in the state. The meat is juicy and not over smoked, and the sides are banging. The potato salad is my favorite but the mac and cheese and fried okra are also great. Service is real friendly too. I will always be back.

Original (2019) Seriously their meat, sauce, and friendliness of the staff makes this place great. Out of all the places that I've tried so far they are a cut above. This location in my opinion is the best. They are busy, but not too busy and it seems like the most clean out of all of them (tied with Briargate but Briargate is always busy, noisy and is VERY hard to park). The staff also here is a cut above the typical very friendly staff. Never had any issues.
New (10/2024) I've been going here off an on for years, it's been my go to for BBQ (or Billy Sims when it was around) the 7 years I've lived in the Springs. They have been slowly going downhill I'm afraid. Where the meat was always moist it's fairly dry now (brisket). The beans are kinda, meh. It's not bad, it's just "good enough" for me to go once in awhile. The service is normally good, but the store needs a little bit of an update.
Parking: Lots of spots to park, none busy parking lot.

All the employees are always so kind and the food is PHENOMENAL 👌 And at the tables inside, there are tons of Polaroid and printed out pics of people's dogs right under the glass surface 🐕 😊 (of course I had to add a picture of my fur baby 🫠🩷🐺)
Friendly staff! The food was pretty good however it seemed boiled not only barbecued. Could just be me but it seemed quite juicy for being only from the grill...beware the wooden benches...two splinters. Ouch! The portions were pretty large for the price and the taste was great! I'd recommend it! Oh and the barbecue beans delicious!
