“Why only 4 stars is because due to the presentation of the food ie... bag (VERY MESSY TO EAT FROM), the slices of sausage still have the casings on which makes the sausage tough & chewy. Our waitress was GREAT! They made the Calamari Perfect! Shrimp was over cooked.“

“So good! Best chicken in town, hands down! I've really missed good fried chicken since I moved out of the South. Krispy Krunchy hit every note. As close to perfect as it gets.
We ordered a four-piece box of chicken with jambalaya and red beans and rice. The jambalaya is seasoned well with lots of sausage, not soupy, not undercooked. As good as any I've had in Louisiana.
The red beans and rice are delicious; nicely spiced, with a perfect texture. I could have made a meal of it by themselves, but we came for the chicken.
I had the drumstick, which was large and meaty. It ended up being more than I could handle, so my husband finished it for me. The chicken was fresh out of the fryer, and we had to allow it to cool a bit before eating. The skin and breading is exactly what the name says - crispy and crunchy. You can hear and feel the crunch of the breading as you bite into it, followed by the juicy chicken inside. The mix of textures and flavours made the chicken extra delicious. The chicken must've been marinated, because the spice seems to run all the way through the meat. The chicken isn't super hot, but is still a little spicy. I think my children would be able to eat it.
They were out of biscuits tonight; we would have liked to have tried them, but they'll have to wait until next time. I'm not sure if they have sauces. We ended up eating in the car, but we'll take it home next time.
Pretty substantial menu with different sides, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, tenders, fried potatoes, and apparently shrimp and gizzards. I love gizzards, but they're absolutely a acquired taste.
We're already planning to take a box of chicken to my in-laws next time we visit.
The store was clean, the man at the food counter was nice, and service was fast. Great experience.
