Capriotti's Sandwich Shop Reviews
I love this place but I cannot for the life of me figure out how they have the Bobbie sandwich and no gravy! They offered it last year for a limited time but come on, that sandwich needs gravy it’s a thanksgiving sandwich and if I went to thanksgiving and had 0 gravy available I would flip a table! Bring back the gravy!!!
The sandwiches are not cheap, but very lack luster. My grilled Italian had limited meat and my husband got the Cole Turkey and there was hardly any Russian dressing (pictured). It was also super salty and for the price, I would have expected more. We went to the new one on Barnes, but this is the only location that popped up in Facebook.
Food was excellent, we stopped there on a whim after we noticed the shop this past Saturday. I had the cheesesteak with hot peppers and my wife had the Bobbie. Crazy good, price was good for the amount of sandwich we got. The work crew and I will be in this Friday for lunch.
Menu
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is a restaurant known for its delicious sandwiches, with options like the Wagyu French Dip and the Bobbie. The sandwiches are good-sized, with lots of meat and veggies, and are made to order, which can make service a bit slower, but the food is always fresh and hot. The shop is clean, and customers often enjoy the friendly counter service. Many customers find that they can get two meals from an 8-inch sandwich if they split it. The restaurant offers some variety, including real shredded turkey and interesting sides like Vicky's sea salt vinegar chips, as well as unique drinks such as pineapple cream soda. Accessibility and parking are not issues, as the location has plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible. A suggested improvement is to toast the roll for hot sandwiches to enhance flavor. Despite some reports of overwhelmed staff during busy times, customers appreciate the quality of the food and the size of the sandwiches.
