i was excited about the drive thru menu cuz the s. academy menu is very short and old and i can’t read it easily. however, my fish, shrimp, and fries all tasted old or old oil. i don’t know. i’m somewhat concerned that ill be sick later. no, i didn’t finish them. i gave them two stars on food cuz the hush puppies were perfect! light and dense at the same time, SOMEHOW! ??‍♀️

The person on the outside speaker you could barely hear I told him that at least three times, you can no longer call in orders you got to do it on the app don't like that person work in the register super young didn't look like he knew how to add

The employees at this store were very helpful. Got a large to-go order and they made sure to go through each item with me to make sure I got everything. In addition, they helped me bring some of my food out to the car. That's service. Thanks!

Just dined in here recently and I have to say I was horribly disappointed. Where do I start...first of all we walk in and approach the counter and there is no staff in sight. The dining area was empty except for one person. So We wait and wait and wait at the counter for anyone to realize we are here. We start hearing a beeping sound which was someone at the drive thru and thats when a worker emerges from the back. But instead of taking our order or acknowleding us , he walks to the drive thru area and proceeds to take their order first. He finally looks at us and says that he'll be right with us. He finishes taking the drive thru order, but then the beeping starts again. So instead of coming over to take our order next (its been almost 10 min standing at the counter) the worker decides to ignore us again and proceeds to take another drive thru order. At this point we are about to walk out when the worker finally comes over and takes our order. We try to pay but their Card reader isn't working properly. After several attempts it finally works. We get our food, to which our fries were old, hard and not edible in the slightest. The worst part was that I had brought a friend from out of town who had never tried captain d's before. I hyped this place up only to be let down severely.

I have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. At first, this was a great place to grab hot, fresh food. The manager was always so helpful. Now, I think about this place last when deciding where to eat. Last 3 visits have been horrible. Food is ALWAYS cold. How is that when I have waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru? What is it that they are doing if I'm waiting this long? Staff is just kind enough not to be rude. Captain Ds should look at the management there and set an expectation of what food should taste like and what customer service should be like. Don't stop, Powers Blvd is full of other choices for great food and service. Try somewhere else!!!!

Jose was our cashier and he was excellent in his customer service. This was one of our best visits. He was was courteous and asked after us and our needs. The rest of the staff was on top of it too. Great job!
