After hiking the Manitou Incline and Red Rock Canyon before 11am, I had to get ice cream to cool my body down. The friendliness of the service and the ice cream made it a perfect combination.
Great ice cream but more expensive than expected. They charge by weight, and out the ice cream on a type of holder to weigh it. I didn't see them adjust the weight for the holder (tare weight). $16 for 2 1 scoop cups and 1 waffle cone seemed high. We went once and it was good.
I took my Girl Scout troop here for ice cream. They have a welcoming atmosphere and nice staff. The girls really enjoyed the topping bar. The reason for my four star review instead of a five star review is the fact that the young ladies were not wearing gloves as they crushed waffle cone to put in the toppings bar.
