This was our first visit to Black Bear Diner and we could not be happier with our experience, our server was THE BEST! She was super friendly and absolutely loved our pup who got to join us for breakfast as the diner is pet friendly. She was so quick in bringing water and coffee and just made you feel like you were visiting her own home and not a diner! I highly recommend the Black Bear Diner on Academy BLVD! They are awesome!

Great home cooking in Colorado Springs. Generous portions, great coffee. Had tomato basil soup that was very flavorful. Friend had chicken and waffles and reported that they were very tasty. Atmosphere is log cabin, vintage wall signs, mountain/woodsy theme diner.

Solid place to grab some American diner style grub. We stopped for breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy, eggs and hot Italian sausage. To my surprise the hot sausage had some good spice to it. The homemade biscuits were fantastic. Solid all around experience.
My buddy had the chicken fried steak. He liked it, good flavor.
