we were traveling to New Mexico and stopped by the Crackerbarrel in Colo. Springs. It was Friday so we both ordered the Fish Fry and sides. Nice large portions of fish and everything was very tasty. Will stop by there again if traveling through.
We always enjoy going to Cracker Barrel from the atmosphere to the service and of course the food. This time the hash brown casserole was not the casserole of old. They were just plain hash browns. They forgot the onions, cheese, sour cream, chicken soup and pepper what a disappointment, and I ordered double sides of it. I will return as always but will not order hashbrown casserole for a while, looks like carrots is next (which is delicious as well).
I wanted to give a shout out to Becca the manager in the store part. I came in looking for a specific item I had seen on social media. She graciously looked for it in the store, then went back in the store room. She showed me a picture online to make sure it was the item I was looking for. She had the cashier take my name and number and assured me she would keep any eye out for it. As a retired customer service rep, I greatly appreciated he warmth and kindness. She is an asset...
