Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I haven’t eaten at Dickey’s in forever and my recent order reminded me why. I bought the fried chicken, smothered in gravy, with baked beans and the baked potato casserole. The ENTIRE meal was nasty. The beans were mushy and flavorless and the casserole was just mashed potatoes with a gravy sauce on it—also flavorless. But the most egregious part of the meal was the “fried chicken breast.” Why on earth would you think it was ok to serve a McDonald’s chicken patty with a splash of gravy on it and call it an entree??? Actually, that is an insult to McDonald’s, because at least their chicken was crispy. The gravy made the bread soggy and mushy, so you’re left with a naked defrosted chicken patty (if you attempt to bite into it; you would have to be very hungry). Dickey’s is a fast food bbq chain, so I shouldn’t have expected much, but why sell chicken at all? Just stick to the fake beef that you’re used to.

Welcome to the driest overcooked roast with no sauce , at 455pm DINNER !!! Not crowded but not stalked , 3 empty bins of supposedly the 3sauces . Maybe that is why it was so deserted. Constant bad service. Got home and had to put Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on overcooked pot roast. They have the nerve to call it Brisket ? C'mon now!

Stopped today on our way back from a long road trip and didn’t wanna cook. The staff was very welcoming and patient. They answered all our questions. They were very accommodating. Food was fresh and delicious!

This Dickey’s is great! Service was great and food was excellent! The okra was nice hot and crispy. Definitely go in!

Very good food

This was just plain horrible. 1 person in front of me took 20 mins to order and the food was straight cold and dry like never again. I wish I can show the amount of food you get for 20 bucks. OVER PRICED

Loaded baked potato has one fork full of each topping.
Burnt ends so tough you cant even stab them with a fork. Typical zero standards fast food worker preparation.
Save yourself the disappointment and wasted money.

Wonderful place

The ‘bbq’ here sucks. We got the turkey, it was like processed turkey slices, not real turkey. The brisket was hard and dry. The burnt ends, were exactly that. Hard, dry, charred literally burnt ends. What a waste of $100.

The day we went they were short handed and still were courteous and the food was made quickly. Great job!!

Our family has been eating here for years! The staff are always welcoming, sweet, and hospitable. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Children eat free on Sundays with each paying adult. Highly recommend!
