This run down dirty old restaurant building is charging a 3.2% PIF fee WITHOUT informing customers in writing beforehand and this is not allowed per Colorado Springs. This owner Jay should be ashamed the Broadmoor informs you and their PIF is at 2.95% and fantastic upkeep. What improvements for which a PIF is charged have you made to this building, the intended use of PIF?

The reason behind posting is customers can read it and answer their questions about it. Or it's to notify them ahead of time that they are going to be charged this before they actually start purchasing anything. Greed is what the owner is about.

In addition, his recommended tip amount is 20%, 25%, etc., on top of total bill, i.e., you are tipping tax and PIF as well. He refers to tax+PIF as Total Taxes. PIF is NOT a tax.

Furthermore, when we asked to speak with him he hid in his office and would not speak with us. Wow can you believe it? When I called back to speak to the owner he hung up on me. Don’t waste your time and money, go to Sushi Row with fresh seafood and a killer vibe!!!!

Loved the atmosphere and food presentation. I felt the potions could have been more generous, but still extremely satisfied regardless.

Reddit said this is the best sushi in Colorado Springs. The decor is all Harry Potter (husband thought it was Halloween-themed and didn’t care for it). They gave hand towels at the start which was nice. Reasonably priced. Edamame was great. Favorite of the rolls we ordered was the Citrus Roll. The presentation was nice.

Good for the springs. Sushi row is still my favorite spot but their menu is much more limited. The only thing about dozo is they literally take forever to make the sushi, every time I have come it has been such a long wait after ordering. But the food is good and fresh so no complaints with quality.

Hands down one of the best places to get sushi. It was my first time going to Dozo and I was surprised to see everything was Harry potter themed! They were also busy and I didnt realize I should have made a reservation but they got us a table rite away! Our server was also they best she re filled our water at least 5 times (we took a little while deciding because everything looked so good lots of choices) the wait for sushi wasn't very long considering how big they were. We were also blow away by the portions the rolls were huge we also ordered ramen and talk about a surprise when they walked out with something even bigger after the huge rolls. This is now going to be our go to sushi spot I dont even know how any other place can compete!

Service was mediocre. Had to get up and get soy sauce from a waitress (who didn't notice me trying to get her attention) to go with our appetizers.

There was a large piece of trash (plastic wrap) in the middle of the floor that every employee literally stepped over the entire time we were eating. Pretty disgusting that no one would pick it up...

Service was un-attentive.... Food was okay. Dinner was about $100 for 2. No alcohol

Ordered gyoza, it was good. Edamame was undercooked/under-steamed, sushi rolls were average.

Table wasn't wiped down before we were seated, has to ask for napkins and utensils/chopsticks after our appetizers came.

Overall a less than average experience

I won't return, especially considering the ratings of other sushi restaurants in Colorado Springs.

Get it together, Dozi

You failed in all areas.

And it wasn't even busy that night (Friday, August 15th)
