El Padrino has good food and good drinks and we usually go there as a change of pace from our other go-to Mexican restaurants. Service is always good without being overbearing, and the place has a nice atmosphere. The bar area is separate from the dining area, so if you want to watch some sports on TV, ask to be seated in the bar area.
On this visit my wife had the Padrino Tacos and I had the Enchilada Dinner. Both were very good. We also had the House Margaritas and they were good, too.
We like El Padrino and give it our thumbs up!

This has been one of my favorites restaurants for over a decade. I love the food and the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I make sure to visit this restaurant as often as I can since I no longer live in that neighborhood.

Consistent in their food. Atmosphere is so so...don't do a lot of pizzaz. Service on this day was so so.....maybe during a shift change or attitude change....

Traditional Mexican food, great place to have a taco and margarita before a concert at ford amphitheater!
My mom and I got the ribeye, it was so good!! The veggies were so flavorful, I really enjoyed my dish. My son got tacos and he loved them. Food was fresh and tasty!

Honestly a ptiful amount of food for $17. I ordered a veggie burrito, and it came with no rice, despite what the menu said. It was probably comperable in size to what is at taco bell, maybe smaller. It was not much better in taste. The chips and salsa were mediocre. Also there were no prices on the menu, which was annoying to figure out via google.

This is one of our favorite Mexican places. The food is always good, but the reason we like it is because it's a great atmosphere and easy to talk. Some restaurants get very noisy and this one is just right with the cozy atmosphere. The staff have always been friendly...which we appreciate.

Had a delicious lunch here. The avocado pork burritos are so good - green chili is just the right spicy. We sat outside on the patio, perfect on a summer day.

I loved this place under the previous owner (Darren Vasquez) and my wife and I continue to go here now. Good food. Love the chili rellenos! Excellent green chili.

Great waitress and food. We were having lunch with friends from Denver and were allowed to catch up and not worry about the time. Waitress was the best.
