Took my wife here for her birthday. Great service. Everyone was super nice and attentive. We got 6 oysters, some wine, and the 7 course tasting menu. Oysters were great and the tasting menu was phenomenal. We're foodies that moved to Colorado Springs a couple of years ago and have had trouble finding great food so we are super happy we found this place. Would highly recommend.

Dined here on a Sunday evening and got reservations no problem. It's in the upper level of an indoor dining hall. We were promptly seated in the front dining room. Our table was in line with some very harsh lighting and they reseated us. I do wish we had been seated in the back room as it looked much more warm and inviting. The menu is very small and since we weren't super hungry, we didn't opt for the tasting menu. 5/5 - Pomegranate Mint Fizz: Not too sweet and a delicious flavor 5/5 - Grilled Sourdough: Simply delicious! Was served piping hot, soft yet crunchy and the butter was perfect 2/5 - Potato Rösti: Too soft in texture and not a whole lot of flavor - they took this dish off our bill as we ate very little 5/5 - White Cheddar Soup: Our favorite dish of the night. It had a beautiful consistency, flavor and the croutons melted in our mouths 4/5 - House Tortellini: Had a good flavor, slightly floral and a little too thick for my liking 5/5 - Duck Breast: Cooked to perfection with a delicious bean garnish 5/5 - Market Fish: Embarrassed to say I do not recall exactly what fish this was, but it was very well cooked, seasoned and balanced I guess we were pretty hungry since we ate so many dishes! The service was spot on and we felt very well taken care of during our meal. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for elegant, delicious food!

Food slapped, we did the 7 course and loved every moment of it. They took extra special care and celebrated with us. We’ll return for another round after the seasonal menu changes. If you’re looking for flavor town, this is it. Every bite sends your tastebuds in a wildly different direction.

I have nothing but rave reviews for Ephemera! This artsy little fine dining space holds so much magic. The open kitchen layout allows guest to see the action while these amazing Chef's prepare some of the most stunning plates I've ever seen. They offer a delectable 7 Course tasting menu but also you can get a la carte, oysters, or just a cocktail and hang out! The vibe is so accessible and open.I always opt for the salad and they are super accommodating for any dietary needs. Ephemera is easily the best restaurant in Colorado Springs hands down.

My friends and I were in for a surprise treat. The restaurant is actually located upstairs in a refurbished small business warehouse which houses other types of restaurants, bars, and businesses. It has areas where you can sit on couches or cushions and talk with friends. The vibe is laid back, welcoming, and the music puts you in a great mood. It's a wonderful adult hang out spot especially on the weekend. As I said the restaurant Ephemera is located upstairs and it actually has a more closure and intimate feel to it; opposed to the other places being out in the open. We didn't have a reservation because we were just told about it by someone downstairs. I would definitely suggest making a reservation. We were very lucky that they were able to seat us that evening. We had a nice big table all to ourselves and a bit of privacy. I wish I could remember the cocktail I ordered because it was really good, but I definitely remember the food. I ordered the pear soup which I think was my favorite hands down. I ordered the duck confit for my entree and my girlfriends ordered the beef, The duck and the beef were both cooked very tender and the flavors were delicious. I really like the combination of the duck, black eyed peas, and lemon marmalade. I combined everything each bite. The first bite just made me close my eyes and hummm. I did try the dessert. I had the oat chocolate cake. It wasn't bad and it had the cherries that added flavor. It tended to be on the very dry side. What I loved more than the rest of the dessert was the rosemary ice cream the chef made. I really would have preferred just that instead of the cake. It was light and unique. I could taste the rosemary. I want to go back for the soup and ice cream. I would order the duck again also but I can't stop thinking about the soup and ice cream.

Very lovely dining experience. food drinks and service were refreshingly exceptional. It's definitely a must go for high-quality food and service. Prices are that of a dining experience but reasonable. 10 out 10 highly recommended.

Staff was great, atmosphere is nice. Food… our experience wasn’t great. This was the 7 course tasting menu:1. Pretzel bite- good but it’s a pretzel.2. Beet soup- my wife liked it, I didn’t. Strange bc I like beets and she doesn’t.3. Kale salad. Delicious, and I don’t like kale.4. Potato mash thing. Neither of us thought it was great.5. Pasta. Too thick, too sweet. Had one bite.6. Main- I had steak, two little bits that were ok. The green stuff with it was awful and there was some cold salsa (?) with it. Worse part was the cook’s hair on my plate. Wife had fish- she actually spit it out. Not good.7. Brownie thing but seemed undercooked with sides that didn’t pair well.Maybe it’s our pallets, but I felt like it was a waste of $200. Again, staff super nice and clearly proud of what they were serving…. We just didn’t like most of it.

The staff at Ephemera made my 70th birthday party phenomenal. We had the beautiful room towards the back completely to ourselves. It is such a lovely space, warm and welcoming. Our group chose the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings that was based on seasonal, local food. Each course was splendid, with the enhancement of a perfectly chosen libation. The service was impeccable and perfectly timed to facilitate conversation and maximum enjoyment of the beautifully presented offerings. I can honestly say I have never had a more wonderful meal. From appetizer to dessert, everything was thoughtfully chosen, creatively and magically prepared, and served with consideration and genuine warmth. My entire group of family and friends was most impressed and pleased. Ephemera has our highest respect, admiration, and gratitude for a memorable evening! Cameron, who guided our experience and expertly explained each course and pairing, was kind, professional, and hosted us flawlessly. She made the process appear to be effortless, the mark of inspired dedication. Highest accolades to the chef and servers, and everyone else involved!

My wife and I came in and had the 7 course meal, hers being prepared gluten free. We also order wine and cocktails. The staff was welcoming and explained each dish very well. It was not a very busy night, so it was nice to have met and been taken care of everyone on staff. As someone who works in the F&B world I want to give this place and the chefs some serious praise. The courses that we had brought an interesting contemporary style dance party on my tastebuds, great play on the savory dishes to finishing off with a great dessert, I am not a sweet tooth type of person, but the dessert round blew me away.No joke, after the meal I felt like I was the food critic from ratatouille, I was smiling ear to ear on how pleased I was.I could tell there is a lot of passion in this tucked away loft and I am thankful for the experience. It is pricey, but worth it and if you see anyone complaining in the reviews below, they can go suck some ducks because they are just complaining to complain.Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating to any dietary needs it seems

Came here for our anniversary dinner because we heard good things. We did the 6 course dinner with wine pairing hoping to get the full experience and were very disappointed. The courses were not well prepared or thought through (one was a spinach salad with raspberry jam and buckwheat). The worst part however, was that it took many hours to get through it and the two servers we had did not provide consistent or good service. At one point in the night while we were anxiously waiting for more water, the entire wait staff, including both chefs, went into the fully visible storage room to take a shot. For the high price, we expected a different experience overall.

Food is delicious and unique every time we go. Love the seasonal creations and wine pairings! The last time we went, I had been having some stomach issues (totally unrelated to their food) and we had to leave early . The chef personally came out and caught my husband outside the restaurant and gave him a to-go container of chicken noodle soup for me. Who does that?! This place will always have our business.
