This food was delicious! I had the grilled tacos, and my husband had the fish and chips. We both slammed the tartar sauce that just had killer flavor, and the fries were crisp and well-seasoned. The owner made a point to make sure we were taken care of, and had some great gluten free options for me. Thanks for killer service and a killer meal! We will definitely be on the lookout!
My husband and I stopped at Urban Animal for a beer or two. Go Fish Food Truck was out front and we decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it is delicious! We had the Cajun shrimp and chips and the seasoning/spice was amazing! They also make their own Cajun sauce, which is very good. I'm looking forward to having then again. :)
So they do a "fresh frozen" thing here. Pro-tip -- if the person behind the grill can tell you how many days old the fish is, it's actually closer to "fresh" than you'd think. I ask servers this all the time. If they start the conversation out by saying "Colorado is the most land-locked state" and can't give you a date when they received the fish... don't eat it.Some of the best fish tacos I have ever had, especially in Colorado....
