Delicious tea in a beautiful space. I enjoyed the tea I had there and the tea I purchased and drank at home. I love the cat that lives here too!

I hope the video footage you have, has the audio available to hear the rude demeanor of the owner in how she asked questions of her patrons.
I was trying to support a local small-business, and trying to shop your merchandise. I was pleasantly surprised you had barista bar. And I said that to you in response when you asked “is your tea for here or to go?”
The two times your son/employee had to “walk past us to get to the kitchen, asking us to move.” Space is very tight and that understandable.
But telling us you could make any teas on the wall, after smelling any of the samples, and then snapping at us when we tried to order one, saying: “I can only make what’s on the sign”. (Emphasis in gruff voice and harsh body motions.)
For a short experience, it was rude the entire time. So, I do hope your footage includes the colorful demeanor you exude to first time guests of your establishment.
I don’t know how my feeling uncomfortable and being “overly” nice to compensate the harsh demeanor of the owner, is fiction. It is my experience. Thank you for responding, but not allowing me a response. I will in fact, avoid any of your places of business. We still bought a bag of over priced tea. The tea purchased is awful and went in the trash. There is no need to visit this establishment.
I find better tea elsewhere where the owners know how to speak to human beings.
I was the only person there and didn’t see anyone else trying to gain entrance.

Cute tea shop. They sell lots of tea- enthusiasts gifts. The made to order teas were ok.

A wonderful small business in our community, my family adores both locations. From going in to enjoy a cup of tea with my kids, to shopping for a gift or attending a class (we went in for painting, cookie decorating and grinch tea!) we have always had a wonderful time! All of my kids adore Shawndel and look forward to visiting!

I’ve been inside this beautiful store before and purchased tea and honey, but I did not enjoy my latest visit. My son, mother, and I walked across the parking lot to the store and saw the two women working, watching us from the couch. We walked in, and there was silence, no “hey” or “hi, welcome,” just their eyes on us. One woman eventually stood up, walked past us, and went straight to the back and shortly after called out to the other woman working, asking for a pizza cutter. Still no interaction with us. We browsed around, and soon after, two other families walked in; they got a nice “hi,welcome” and were offered help and information.

My son and I went to the register after he grabbed the honey sticks he wanted, and to be honest, I didn’t even want to purchase from a shop that made us feel unwelcome, but we had come into the store just for the honey sticks, so I purchased them. A woman finally walked up the register and asked, “Can I help you?” Her tone was like she had something better to do than ringing us up. We purchased the honey and went on our way. I’m not sure we’ll ever come back because customer service makes such a big difference, and we did not feel welcomed. The products are good, and the shop is cute though.

Super cute little tea shop in Black Forest that offers a large assortment of loose leaf teas, various honeys, jams, and little collectiables. They even have a well decorated space for a group of up to 20ppl to have a gathering/party and will be hosting afternoon tea very soon.
I am already looking forward to making my reservation.
Today, I had the Lavender Fog Latte Tea, which was perfect! As well as picked up a flowering tea ball 🌼 🌸

Tiny place, but you should totally pop in when you have some time to check out all of these cute items. Very interesting & unique flavors of teas & honeys. This would be an excellent spot to take your visitors & let them pick out some yummies to take home with them!

It’s hard to find local honey and high quality loose leaf tea, this shop has both.
In addition there’s a cozy part of the shop to drink in house made tea in and a charming cat that walks around.
I bought a tin of jasmine and brewed it at home, it’s so soothing on a cold January day
