Jims, where you get over-served AND physically assaulted. All with the okay of the gm! There is a police report for an incident that happened this month when a woman was assaulted by a regular at this bar. Other guests saw the whole thing. THAT REGULAR is still allowed to drink at Jims and the GM has since fired one of their best employees for standing up for the women and insisting the guest be banned. This bar let's everything fly. Women beware of this bar, the over serving of day time regulars makes it a shady place and management does not care about the safety of its guests. Or about its bartenders for that matter.

My friend and I saw a woman get physically assaulted at this bar on July 3rd. She was aggressively lifted and laid flat on the ground by a man in front of a bunch of people. Guests next to me called the police, bartender acted accordingly by standing up for the women and other guests. Returned TONIGHT to be informed by other patrons that the man that assaulted that woman is still allowed in the bar, had returned the following night. AND they fired the bartender THAT night for trying to permanently ban this abusive guest. My group of friends and GIRLFRIENDS will find a bar that respects its staff AND all it's guests.

Losing all the good staff. Bar isnt what it used to be. Much younger crowd these days, cheap darts and cheap pool brings them in. Over-serving definitely helps with that too im sure. Lots of rap played over touch tunes and they skip/buy you out when you try to play different music. Order bottled beer, BL and bud tap had floaters.

Megan and Killian are awesome...fun place, good times.

Had great service from the bartender with the curley mustache. I was with a large group of friends, and he was pleasant, fast, and very polite. I'm sorry I dont remember his name. Went to Jim's years ago, and swore it off. This last visit will bring me back.

Your typical LGBT (mostly Grinder) neighborhood bar. Fast pours, a little smelly but something for everyone.

How dare anyone believe that there is a better breakfast than Elfie’s biscuits and gravy… that dish brought me all the way back to a southern Texas dewy morning. This is the cleanest bar I’ve ever experienced, it blew my mind that I actually ended up meeting the man that keeps the whole bar cleanliness high and tight.. thanks to Lonnie, he literally worked through the middle of the night (on New Years mind you) and sat right next to me as I enjoyed my breakfast for the morning. Lastly, Heather made me the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever tasted in my life (with the authenticity of making it in mason jar fyi). I’ve even heard from the locals that Carrie Underwood stopped by Jim’s on a tour a few years back and that she enjoyed Heathers bloody so much that Jesus had to take the wheel because she couldn’t drive home. Bless these people and bless this bar. Cheers, you’ll remember this bar for life if you visit.
