I placed a last minute order for 2 dozen Christmas Eve tamales, as the ones I ordered from someone else fell through. I checked the website to see if they were available and they were. I then placed the order on DoorDash, as they were $3 cheaper per dozen. The restaurant confirmed the order would be ready at 10:30am, so I drove 40 mins to pick them up. Upon getting there, I was told they do not have any in stock and will not be refunding my money. DoorDash will also not refund my money because the store confirmed my order. The lady I spoke to said there is nothing they can do on their end. Once again refusing to refund my money even after explaining that because they confirmed the order, DoorDash will not refund the money either. Now I am out $60 with no tamales. Horrible Business Practice.

I am from El Paso, and since moving to springs, there aren’t that many places that have the same authentic flavor, but this place captures the flavor! although the prices aren’t the same as el paso, the food is so delicious! we tried the menudo, tacos al pastor and huevos con tocino.

They auto charge a mandatory tip on every order & then have an option for addtl tip (even on a $6 pickup order) they have good food and would've had a long time customer. I will NEVER order from here again as a tip is based on service not being open. I had a take out order I came and picked up. They charged a tip without notice. Shady business practice especially when costs of everything is ridiculous.

My wife and I were at our mechanics and saw this place, so we decided to stop in for breakfast. We are certainly glad we did. The food was phenomenal, the service was wonderful, and the quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. I grew up on Mexican food and was reminded of my time with my aunts. This place is authentic, and my wife and I will return.

Everything was very good, the food was delicious, the service was good, but they should hire more wait staff, since the same lady was running from cashier to waitress and from waitress to taking orders and from there, the poor lady couldn't cope with the customers.

This just might be the best restaurant I’ve been to in Colorado Springs. Tucked away this little hole in the way gem was excellent. Best chimichanga I ever had! The churros were outstanding too. The price point was also great, as I’ll be able to become a regular customer of this business and I’m so happy to say that! The food was outstanding, our server was very friendly and overall my friend and I had a lovely dinner. I look forward to coming back to try a new dish or enjoy the carne asada chimichanga I had again. Thank you Las Americas!

Great service, huge portions, authentic flavors!
The choriquezo appetizer while not big, was super flavorful and best eaten on a corn tortilla (comes with tortilla chips)
The caldo de rez (Mexican beef stew) is a MUST try.
The pozole was really good with tons of flavor.
Make sure you ask for the hand made tortillas!
So far, the molcajete was my favorite, huge portions for all dishes, but this dish has (literally) everything.
The desserts were phenomenal, their “gelatina” was super creamy, very similar to a flan.

This little restaurant is my favorite on a Sunday or Saturday morning. Usually coming in with some guests that have never been and we enjoy the most delicious breakfast. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to share with my friends. I love the menudo. Every thing is the way it should be and for some of us, we can be very picky.
This place is it. Plenty of parky and a bowling alley near by.

I love this place! The food is so delicious, and everyone who works there has been nothing short of kind and welcoming. I work a few doors down and several of us instructors plus the studio students always get food at Las Americas since it’s so good. Great family run business.
