Everything on the menu hits the spot. Just had the wings. Each bite was perfection with the right amount of crispiness and full of flavor.The fries are signature and a must. Must try the shrimp and grits, highly recommended.

The owner is so friendly and even though it was busy she explained the different dishes and sauces, and THE FOOD was so good. I’m not local, and I’m super sad about that fact.
The shrimp and catfish meal was fantastic. Best collard greens I've ever had. The shrimp Mac and cheese is made to order, fresh and super good. We'll be back for sure!

I went here in hopes of having a lunch with my wife. We approached one person working there on a Saturday afternoon, only to be told they will not be taking any future orders. In addition to, he had a catering gig and turned us away. What kind of Business turns people away in the middle of an afternoon on a Saturday? This place deserves Zero stars since this is an eating establishment in the middle of downtown Colorado Springs turning away paying customers. I definitely do not recommend!!!3 week update, I responded with an email as suggested in the review reply, but I received no response, whatsoever.However , I do not 100% agree with the response. I would like to inform you that when we approached the gentleman to order, he said that he was not taking any more orders, because he had many orders already and a catering gig. He then turned his back to us and went about doing whatever he was doing. He never informed us that there would be a wait or even asked us to wait. He simply stated said that he is not accepting any orders. I’m not sure what we were supposed to do at this point. We were standing there looking at each other and determined that we were not welcome to order at any time and were left with no options but to leave. If he would’ve asked us to come back in 30 minutes or an hour, then we would’ve walked around downtown and came back when the time was appropriate. We both figured that he was going to close up and proceeded to do his catering. How we’re supposed to know what is going on since the communication was nonexistent.

This spot is a hidden gem. The menu has variety. Stop on by and savor the flavor my neighbor. The catfish and shrimp platter had my jaws salivating. Ain't nothing to it but to do it.
My husband has always loved the shrimp fries with flamingo sauce, but I got a catfish/shrimp plate and holy smokes - that shrimp is the most amazing thing I think I've ever had. The catfish was delicious too, but the fried shrimp is out of this world. 200/10 would recommend the menu, but especially the fried shrimp. Did I mention the fried shrimp??
I had the catfish, shrimp, and wings(triple threat)with fried okra. It was SOOO good. MUST VISIT if you're in the area. I was visiting from SC and was happy to find this place.

The Trifecta was Excellent. Cooked fresh to order and all you need is a little patience. I’m visiting from Aurora but will definitely be back. The young man behind the counter was by himself taking orders and cooking. Very good young man!

So frikkin' good! Here from out of town, wanted some tasty food. Found this food court'ish type place, went with Luchals, and I made the best decision. Service was excellent from TJ and he chef'd the hell outta that food, it was so good. We got the triple threat (Catfish, Shrimp, Wings, & a side for $30, it was a lot of food) Highly recommend, and hopefully you get my guy TJ.
