The place is a bit run down, the staff is a little short with you, but gosh darn it. It's probably the best Chinese in town
Mandarin Chef Express is a peaceful and welcoming restaurant with a focus on fresh ingredients and big portions. The staff is friendly and hardworking, taking good care of customers even when busy. The food is outstanding, with vegetarian options available. The menu features dishes like Mongolian beef and king pow chicken. The lo mein can be a little bland, but portions more than make up for it, with lots of won tons. The lunch menu is a bit cheaper than dinner. Egg rolls are a vegetarian option.
