You want Green Chile. Monica's has legitimate Green Chile made with that authentic Colorado Pueblo Chile. You know how you know this is the awesome Green Chile before you even taste it? It's not green. True Coloradans know that the best chile is off red, and Monica's does it right. Come here for the fire, this is a Tom Approved top 5 green chile destination!
I've been smashing Monica's Taco Shop food since 2001. I started with the location on Fillmore, eating a pollo asada burrito for lunch every day for 2 years. I was shocked to find this one on Powers. It has all the qualities that Monica's Taco Shop is known for! The breakfast burritos are insane. My favorite dishes are the fish tacos, pollo asada burrito, and their carne asada fries. I always get a side of two fried jalapenos. So delicious! I'm always served...
Only drawback is the location but that’s just to have a negative. Everything else is consistent and reliable. Get your breakfast burritos and be happy. Carne Asada plate no pick with a $6 tip. Just do it. Delicious.
