Beautiful views and their main lobby is picture perfect. The majority of restaurants surrounding the resort were closed early so we decided to eat at the restaurant.Wait time: we waited about 20 minutes for a party of 9 which was not bad.Restaurant: Was really nice, however, the food took forever, the food was cold, and over cooked. Service was unpleasant and overall unimpressed.Drinks: I had a beer my friends had mixed drinks and those were all great although the portions were small. For dinner, I'd recommend trying something different, but if you have to eat here, the food is edible and prices are the same as anywhere else.As we sat down for dinner we were warned by another angry patron who had left unsatisfied due to their cold food, they warned us not to eat here, but decided to try for ourselves. You are warned!

Maybe breakfast is not their specialty.Went to the breakfast buffet this past Sunday morning because this resort is near my house and has 4 star reviews. I was excited because the lobby is beautiful and the dining area was right next to these gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. However, the food was lame. I didn’t partake of the omelette station, but the breakfast buffet was not even Golden Corral level good. It was basically Holiday Inn breakfast with insta-eggs, fruits, pastries, dairy, and proteins. The home fries where unseasoned and the oatmeal the only hot item. You get your own coffee and waiters will bring you juice, to off your water and take your plates away.Because of the rather lackluster offerings, I was surprised that breakfast for two was almost $60. Real talk: save your money and go to Western Omelette or King Chef.

Absolutely worth going here and spent hours eating and drinking here. Super amazing service along with food and drinks on point. Once you see the view it's no comparison you found the right place.

Why is it every time I come here, the chicken is overcooked and dry as a bone?

Had to ask for drinks, server came by one other time. Food was cold and it was disorganized with a lot of rude people. Not anywhere near the value for what we paid. Will not be seeing my wife and I again.

So so food; ham overcooked; prime rib raw; limited food selection. Asked for a glass of champagne while we socialized with friends an hour before seating time and were told we could only have some when seated. Really??? It's the little things that keep people from returning. Will look for other options next year, even if it costs more. Good service.

The resort is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The facility is very clean. This was our second year and might be our last year because we didn't feel it was the value we experienced in 2021. For example, Eggs in the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the crab looks like it was freshly cooked, but was frozen on the inside and there didn't seem to be as many choices as before.

Omelet chef was good _ he worked efficiently and resulting omelet and waffle was deliciously delicious. Service was subpar. - felt like we were ignored. Especially paying $400 for brunch. Thes cost benefit was not there... Result for us, we will not be back

This was a special occasion event for our family. The food was delicious and it was presented in a beautiful manner. We weren't rushed at all. It was so special to meet with Santa before and after our meal, as well as have him come to our table during the meal. The staff was lovely and so helpful. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you. We want to make this event a yearly tradition for our family.

Food was good and buffet was kept well stocked. Service was not the best. Once we were seated and received our drinks the server never came back by to check on us. Servers were not attentive at all to guests. We had to flag down a server just to get more coffee and they were not very busy when we were there. All the servers seemed to be there just to talk and hung out around the drink stations. If service was better we for sure would have given this restaurant a better rating.

We took my 3 year old son and his cousins to brunch with Santa. They rolled out the red carpet and gave us a beautiful table with a great view in the corner, with enough space for the kids to be kids. They enjoyed meeting with Santa. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality.

For more than 4 years we have been going to this restaurant, we have even celebrated my daughter's birthday there. This year the breakfast "food" was horrible, it seems that the organizer is not focused on a good brunch for that price. 3 types of cheese and not fresh. No ham , and fruit except melon, they were all canned. The hot food station was cold! There was no hot cocoa at a breakfast with Santa.” A manager from Spain, very rude to some children who were in a common area , they are very calm, she asked what they were doing there! Anyway Chayanne Mountain Resort is no longer the same due to poor management

It could have been the time of our reservation and the end of the brunch but the food was horrible. The children's selections were awful. The mini corn dogs were ice cold. The max and cheese looked and tasted like it was reheated. For the adults: All selections looked and tasted mine they were the ‘last call' of the day. No fresh desserts were out. Selection was minimal and nothing was restocked or fresh. Biscuits were tough and the accompanying gravy was cold. The sausage looked burnt and thus tasted burnt. The saving grace was the view, Santa (no Mrs.) was there, and the light snow outside.
