This is my second time coming here. Each time I was so impressed with the kindness from the servers (Talia, from our first visit, and Allie, today’s server, are just amazing). Today, I watched one of the servers with an older person and just have a lovely conversation with them. The food is also delicious. I recommend the breakfast burrito! The Strawberry Cheesecake French toast is also elite!I love seeing how much the team here cares. Definitely a place I will be frequenting and recommending!

The biscuits with sausage gravy come with a La Croix amount of sausage.

Had a pretty middling experience here this morning. The low point was my partner’s “latte” - the first couple sips he took were incredibly bitter and sour. We quickly realized the barista had simply pulled a shot on top of steamed milk, instead of pouring steamed milk into pulled espresso, leaving the espresso sitting unmixed on top of the milk. Not sure which dictionary they’re pulling their definition of a latte from. Our omelettes were good, nothing to write home about. The hashbrowns on the side can only be described as flaccid - ask for yours to be extra well done if you wish to encounter a crispy potato during your meal. Fruit sides were precut and wilted. On the upside, our server was attentive and service was fast. Total came to $50 for two people - bit steep for mediocre food.

Literally some of the best, if not the best breakfast food I’ve had in Colorado. Home fries were crunchy and well seasoned and the eggs Benedict was super tasty and cooked perfectly. Server and host were amazing as well!

I hate giving places a bad review. My coffee was OK I got a peppermint bark latte. The lemon ricotta pancake was good but it's nothing compared to the one I had in Utah. The eggs Benedict was bland and I ordered a California Benedict swap the bacon for Canadian bacon. This is not what I got. I got a eggs Benedict add Avocado which is what the receipt said I ordered. This is the first time in my life I have not finished an eggs benedict as they are my favorite breakfast. My husband said his omelet and coffee were OK but that it wasn't worth coming back to. Very sad as I love local restaurants. Bon tons has way better food for a similar price.

Usually the service is awesome, but they have hired some new people that are awful : dizzy and dumb. I hate to say that, but the common sense is just not there.

Very small place, so limited seating. But great food!! They have a strong kitchen because wait time on a Sunday morning was maybe 15 after ordering. I love that they do call ahead seating also.

I went to New Day Cafe for the first time today and it was awesome! This hidden gem has been in Colorado Springs for about 11 years and definitely has its regulars. This is a bright and friendly neighborhood diner with amazing food. I had the California Benedict (sub tomatoes for bacon) with extra crispy hashbrowns. It was made perfectly! And the coffee is delicious. Bonus, my server Claire was able to make my mimosa with pineapple juice instead of the normal OJ. I’ll definitely be back because I had a great breakfast and all for a very reasonable price. Thank you Claire and New Day Cafe!Vegetarian options: It was no problem to sub tomatoes for bacon on my Benedict making it the perfect California Eggs Benedict!

I stopped by New Days Cafe while I was out and about. I had been here on e before to meet with friends. This was my second visit on a Friday morning. The place was not too busy when I came in and I did not have to wait. It did start to pick up after 11. I ordered a turkey BLT and ice tea. The food came out rather quickly and she checked on me a few times before my order.Once I ordered, however, I never saw my waitress for forty minutes. Not exaggerating. My drink was empty during that time and well.... That's how I tip on how quickly my drink stays filled. I mean, what else is worth the tip?The table next to me did have to call over the waitress. She must've just forgot about me.I hardly ever never leave a tip. I mean I can count on one hand the number of times I didn't leave a tip on the last 5-10 years. Unfortunately this is one of those times.I went up to the hostess box with my food and asked for a box and to check it.I'm a bit disappointed in this experience. The food was good and the atmosphere as well. I probably won't be back.
