Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

Wings were over cooked, son-in-law's oder never got put in, but the restaurant ended up giving us his meal free. Staff was friendly, and SiL said his Calzone was very good.

Took my family on a weekend. The Old Chicago experience was awesome. Perfect for any occasion. Food was delicious.

I am leaving 1 star for a variety of reasons but the major one is that the pesto has walnuts in it. No where on the website menu or the menu on doordash does it list that and my daughter is having a SEVERE allergic reaction to the pesto.

Service is terrible!! My family and I went in around 4pm with minimal customers. The host and bartenders starred at us while they laughed and giggled together. Sat there for 15 minutes and never even got to place our drink order. Host finally rushed over to us as we are leaving out the door. Do better!

Service wasn’t bad, food was pretty good. They were out of a lot of stuff on their menu which was a bit frustrating .

Only complaint I have is. Meatballs absolutely terrible. To dry.

We brought our 2 young grandkids with us to eat before we took them to a movie. We were set in a booth and had to flag down a staff member to get kid menus.

We ordered our food and drinks, 2 pizza’s and 2 mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was cold and we didn’t receive any plates with our pizza. I took 10 mins to flag a staff member down to ask for plates so our pizza was cold by the time we got plates. We were also out of drinks but the staff member that brought us plates could have cared less and just set our plates down and walked away.

All this took place over and hour and a half and we only had 20 mins to get to the movie (theater is in the same parking lot). It took us another 15 mins to get a staff member to get us boxes and our
Check so we could leave.

Food was not very good and service was absolutely horrible.

The last couple time we ate at this restaurant food was ok and service always horrible. There is never enough staff and I use to be more forgiving because of the hiring shortage after Covid, but now I realize it is just a staff that doesn’t care and obviously management that is completely absent.

It’s clean and good is fine but good god service is non existent. I can’t really say more than that. Manager is literally walking by us with no drinks and no one has been to our table in almost 15 mins. It’s not even worth eating out anymore
