I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and parked in a handicap parking spot outside of this store. A man from inside the store came out and started scolding me for parking there. Saying that my car would be towed. What kind of person would threaten a disabled person with handicap plates on his car? I would never go back again for any reason.

Excellent GF bagels and cookies, so glad this place exists! I try to stop by here whenever I'm driving through Colorado Springs.

You don’t have gluten free sourdough or anything other then vegan stuff.

Outside the Breadbox is great for those who have several food allergies! I have a 6 year old son who is severely allergic to most of the top 14 common allergens plus several other food allergies. I sincerely appreciate their company’s mission and for helping families with food allergies have a safe option for baked goods. Their vegan oat bread is the only safe sliced bread I’ve been able to find for my son and it will continue to be our repeat order. My son loves them so that makes us huge fans! Thank you, Outside the Breadbox!

Hi Outside the Breadbox! Thank you for creating and selling allergy friendly baked goods. Thank you also for providing an option for items to be shipped as I live in CA. I am absolutely obsessed with their gluten-free oat bagels. I have been gluten-free for over 40 years. Their products are the real deal. I will be making a large order for the holidays. Croutons, pies, rolls etc. Sure to please everyone on my guest list. Regardless of if they are gluten-free individuals or not!

We stopped at their store in Old Colorado City for my visiting sister. She raved about their bagels! When toasted, it had a crisp exterior and a chewy interior.

Best gluten free, dairy free, egg free bread with allergy friendly ingredients I've ever found. We love it. Wish the price didn't keep going up but it is the best of it's kind. I'm so glad they aren't using any other gluten free flours, preservatives, or changing the ingredients!

I am always confused when I go in. I feel like I should be walking into a bakery that smells like fresh bread and has lots of fresh options in cases. What I find is a lot of frozen bagged bread, a few snacks bagged up, and a bunch of other brands. Very tiny loaves- my husband is not gf and only does it to keep me safe. He was not a fan. The bread was dense and dry. The hot dog buns were hard, and hard to bite. The kids just ended up eating it separate. The dinner rolls were the winner of it all. Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside very pleasant taste. The crackers were sweet and did not have near-enough salt. Meh. Only one employee at the register behind the door. Not very welcoming or helpful. I'm glad they are moving to a more convenient location. Hopefully they will set up the front end better.

I will say that this bakery has the absolute closing thing I have ever found to cheezits. They also have really delicious "cinnamon crisps". They are basically cinnamon graham crackers. The lack of the fifth star is due to their lack of inventory. I wish they would provide a wider variety of product.

I am sad to be writing this review, as I had been a loyal customer of OTB for a long time. I used to buy their bread and bagels daily from Natural Grocers when I lived in Colorado. Once I moved away, I had to switch to ordering online, and a recent customer service experience I had with them has soured me on the brand. I placed an order for multiple bags of bagels to be shipped to me a few months ago. There was a mixup with my order, and bread was sent instead of bagels. No big deal, I contacted customer service, and the rep told me that I could receive a refund, or get a free bag of bagels with my next order. Awesome! I opted for the bagels with my next order (I figured I didn't need the refund since I am a repeat customer and would order in the future) and the rep told me to just leave a note to add the missing bagels to my next order and they would be included. I placed my order last week and left a very descriptive note, as instructed, and my order was delivered... without my bagels. Yet another mixup. I sent an email to customer service detailing the situation, noted that I was frustrated that this had happened again, especially after I took the time to include a note as they instructed (which was ignored), and asked how to remedy the situation. I received an email back, no greeting, no explanation, no apology, just "I refunded you for your order." I emailed back to thank the rep for the refund but this dismissive response has not sat well with me. It may just be emblematic of the times we live in, but as a business owner myself, I will never understand or accept lacking basic customer service skills. I can't imagine being angry at a customer who has placed multiple orders with your business that were all delivered wrong. OTB may feel that they can be dismissive, after all, they're only losing one customer right? But if you've lost the ability to communicate with your customers like human beings, you've lost more than you realize.

We were driving when I unexpectedly saw this little bakery and decided to take a chance on this place. So glad we did. My husband was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and we have been looking high and low for good tasting gluten free products. We bought a few loaves of bread and a bag of cinnamon crisps. They are all very tasty. They have several other prepackaged gluten free and vegan options. Can't wait to try these out in the future.

I am so thankful this bakery exists!!! If you are gluten free, this is your PLACE!!! I had the hamburger buns on Saturday night and they were amazing! Flavorful, soft and were perfect when paired with garlic and herb butter and thrown on the grill for a couple minutes!! I also got some of the blueberry bagels! Had 1 this morning and was so happy!!! They taste delightful and I didn’t have any bloating afterwards! I’m so grateful I’ve found this place! Keep up the great work guys!!!

Their gluten free Vegan Oat Bread is soooo good! You can eat it without even toasting!

When I moved from Colorado to Florida I couldn't find gluten free bread anywhere, that was as good as Outside the Breadbox. I have been ordering online and having it shipped to me for 2 years now. The best ingredients, flavor and texture. I love Outside the Breadbox products, all of them! Thank you!!!
