The food is good, but honestly I come here for the service. Everyone knows my name and my typical orders and they treat me like family. Thanks for being my emotional support restaurant for 15 years and counting.
Lived in Colorado Springs for years but have never been here. Didn’t know what I was missing. The restaurant is in a house in old Colorado City. We did park on the street as there is not a ton of parking but that is not an issue. Be prepared for a wait as the restaurant gets busy. The service was very good as well as the food. We did get there about 11:30am and the cinnamon rolls (which are huge) were sold out. We plan on visiting again and getting our hands on one of...read full review

My wife and I have road tripped over 100,000 miles together. We love to eat at little non-chain restaurants like this. Mountain Shadows is one of THE BEST we have ever eaten at. We ate there twice on our visit to CO Springs! Even with only two people waiting tables AND bussing, the service was amazing. Never felt forgotten about and they were friendly and personable. Will make a point to come here again anytime we come near Colorado Springs!
