Piglatin Cocina Reviews
HolyHell this is phenomenal!
We’re older & for our date night, enjoyed the hip vibe, eclectic crowd, decor, music & unbelievable staff that took time to answer our ?’s and really interact - so enjoyable inside & out on the swings! Heated patio ensures we’ll be back to work our way thru the menu. Megs & Marina, fantastic-enjoyed talking with you & appreciated your excellent service. Cool bartenders made fantastic happy hour papaya margaritas and the food, OmGG -Incredible flavor profiles (no wonder they’ve won so many awards)
Being our first time we sampled. The bowls were amazing & the mushroom & Jack fruit tacos out of this world delicious. The fried plantains paired with their sauces were exceptional.
No wonder they’ve won so many awards. We’ll def be occupying seats for their happy hour specials to work our way thru the menu. Seriously so glad we’ve found this place-amazing!

Piglatin Cocina is a restaurant that offers a wonderful dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere. The margaritas are fantastic, with a margarita flight available for those who want to try different flavors. The spicy margarita was noted for its nice heat, while the smoky margarita had a subtle hickory taste that many enjoyed. The mojito remains praised as the best in town, being a perfect mixture of rum and lime. The bar drinks are great, with good flavors that pair well with the food.
The food at Piglatin Cocina features an elevated Latin flair, with small plates offering a variety of flavors. The shrimp taco is a standout, alongside the island taco with pork and cabbage, the Cubano, and chicharrones. The guava lava taco is a must-try, and the salchipapas, made of fried potatoes, sausage, and fry sauce, exceeded expectations. The salsa sampler, featuring three house-made salsas with signature red tortilla chips, was fresh and bright. The churros, served with guava sauce, were described as delicious.
The service at Piglatin Cocina is generally top-notch, with staff making suggestions and informing guests about the menu, although some reviews noted room for improvement. The ambiance is funky, with painted walls that evoke a welcoming vibe reminiscent of great hole-in-the-wall Latin American eateries. The cozy indoor area and decent outdoor space enhance the dining experience, complemented by a music playlist that creates lively vibes without overwhelming. Parking is free but can fill up quickly.
Overall, Piglatin Cocina is a popular spot for a night out, offering amazing food and drinks, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It rarely has a slow day, so visiting between lunch and dinner may help avoid crowds.
