It used to be so much better when it was Whiskey Baron. It was dead and music kind of sucks. Very disappointed.
The community that is being made here is better then I could have asked for. The regulars love to help teach and invite people into the community. Kayla is an amazing bartender and love when I come in and see her behind the bar. She loves to chat with people and make them feel welcomed! Based on the reviews, The Whiskey Rose Dance Hall & Saloon is a fun place with a great vibe. It is a pretty chill local spot that is a favorite for line dancing, especially on Thursdays for ladies' night. The age range of folks attending is broad, and the crowd of people is typically pleasant and friendly. The bands are pretty good, and the fried pickles are excellent. The staff is generally nice, with patient bartenders on ladies' night who put alcohol in the drinks. The security staff is described as some of the best staff ever dealt with. However, service can be inconsistent; some bartenders need to be taught how to serve first come, as they often stand there while other people who came after get served. One bartender deliberately gives juice or soda and refuses to smile. The venue has enough room for a party, and it feels safe in the parking lot. They teach dance on Wednesday and Friday. Overall, it is a good time with a pleasant atmosphere.
