Jarhead Coffee Company

Coffee is ok, but there isn't a lot to eat or snack on. Well, not "healthy" stuff. I was looking for a sandwich, but all they had was candy bars, bags of chips and ramen noodles, like in a vending machine, lol. No bagels, no croissants, no cookies. If you need a coffe, it's ok, but don't plan on buying anything to eat.

Drove a long way through traffic to try this place out, only to discover they are out of business. I wish they would update their Google listing to reflect that.

The server had no idea what the middle sized coffee was when I asked him for a Jarhead size ( it's the 16 oz). Coffee was like mud. My friend had to wait 20 minutes for a chai latte- the guy literally disappeared in the back and we couldn't find him. Place is run down and people from the Sonic are using the outside seating to sit in. We wished we had just gone to Starbucks.

Pikes perk was awesome. The customer service was grade A. The people working there now at jarhead just don’t have that same kindness or friendliness

What the heck happened to Pikes Perk?! Service is absolutely horrible now! The lady taking orders, Tina, VERY unfriendly. She doesn’t say hi if you say hi, she’ll look at you with a stank face and say “what’s your name?” Demeanor felt like, “can you hurry up and tell me your order.” I order, she doesn’t write down on the cup that I want 1/2 caf, so I proceed to tell the nice gentleman making the drink and he says “oh ok! No problem.” All of the pastries and quiches that used to be in the front behind the glass, gone. We go here quite often since we work in the same plaza and have been for over 7 years, it’s ALWAYS been crowded, hard to find a seat, well yesterday when we walked in, there were only TWO people sitting. Bring PP back!

Great live music, really good food options and beverage selection. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A great place to chill, get work done, have a friendly get together... Just great.

My friend and I wanted to try out this place for the first time. When we went up to the counter the barista immediately rolled her eyes and kept looking at her phone/iPad so we waited back for a bit for her to finish what she was doing. After a few minutes she announced that she had been waiting for us to order. However, she hadn't looked up from her device for the entire time (nor said anything to us) and we were kinda taken aback from her tone of voice and behavior. Once we got the tea it didn't taste like anything but water. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what but it was really shocking and I do not recommend this place because of this experience and won't be going back. :(

Pikes Perk Coffee House, at Vickers and Academy, decided to close early, after cancelling a band. Another band who have the played there before, offered to sub, but the owner said, “No”. WTH! It’s a FREE gig!

The manager was outright hostile when we said we wanted to get a drink and get something to eat. Their website says they close at 8:00 PM. About 10 people were essentially asked to leave at 5: 35. Good business move dude!

Great coffee and great ambience. Every time I have a work meeting this is my go-to spot

Forget Starbucks. Come here and get a better cup of coffee at a better price. No annoying loud music and a friendly staff. I'll be going back to this place.
