The was service the worst we’ve ever encountered at any restaurant. We were almost pressured to ordered more than we wanted. The cook or owner was staring at us the whole time to put pressure on us to order more.

This is original Korean food. Excellent. Plentiful. Full of flavors from my childhood. Eight of us ate there yesterday, and we are literally on our way to the restaurant again now for our final night in town.

Ordered Galbitang soup ($25). They gave me ox tails instead of Galbi. When I complained about it, the owner decided to change my order to regular Galbi in a skillet ($35). So I ended up spending $10 more because they made the mistake. The owner blamed the meat distributor who mis labeled the meat as Galbi. So they don't even check to see what they actually get?

Now I know why we were the only Korean patrons in the restaurant on Sunday lunch time.. Other patrons were all White.

Just okay food- I've never had greasy Korean food before- I've eaten at almost every Korean restaurant in the springs, but that's what we got here. Galbi was raw and needed more cooking at home- fried chicken was about 1 chicken thigh chopped up for $22. Japchae was hot but about 3 bites of beef. Handmade mandu was burnt and lacking in filling. Banchan was very basic and if it's included in the price of dishes we got very small if not only 1 portion for 3 main dishes- all food tasting very American? We are not far from here and for $100 won't order again.

I had a mixed experience here. The food was good, and our server (female) did a great job she was attentive, professional, and handled everything well.
Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a man who appeared to be the owner or in charge. While we were still seated, he repeatedly shouted “pay, pay, pay” at our server, not giving her a chance to properly finish cleaning the table or assist us.
I had already spoken with our server about payment and went up to the counter to pay. After paying, I returned to the table to wait for my wife to come back from the restroom, and he shouted it again as if I was going to leave without paying. It felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and honestly disrespectful.
Given the situation, it’s hard not to question whether bias played a role in how we were treated.
I want to emphasize that our server did a great job despite this, but behavior like that especially from someone who seems to be in a leadership role really takes away from the experience.

Not impressed. First they claimed they didn't have my order when we went to pick it up. Took us another 15-20 minutes waiting for some overpriced food. Food was incredibly dry and bland. Will not be coming again

Had a great lunch at San Chang House. The lunch menu offers a nice variety of choices, which made it hard to decide what to order.

I went with the beef bulgogi, which arrived on a hot sizzling plate and was flavorful and satisfying. We also ordered the gopchang jungol, a dish that’s actually quite difficult to find in Colorado, and it was superb. It came out in a hot stone bowl, boiling vigorously and full of rich, comforting flavor.

The food felt very authentic, and it was nice to see that both the lady server and the chef are Korean. That authenticity really shows in the dishes.

Love this place and will definitely be coming back.
