Shame & Regret

It’s the end of the evening for my 50th birthday,, but of course our server doesn’t know this. She simply greets four drunken old men with the same positivity and engagement she greets everyone else with. I will say that Emma was the best part of my 8 hours of birthday- and we met her at hour 7. What a great night, and though she had no idea it as my 50th she treated me like a king- as I’m sure she does everyone else. What’s a gift of a person to be so awesome after dealing with drunk a-holes all night. Thank you Shame and Regret, and more importantly thank you Emma for giving me such a great night. 4/10 be damned- you rock and we all know it. You were a gift I will not soon forget!

Great place for a date or hanging with few friends. Welcoming but with low lit ambience, perfect for enjoying a nice cocktail. Staff and owners are always knowledgeable and well versed when I have a question.

Came in with a friend for a drink and to catch up. The ambiance has always been wonderful here. Love the theming and moodiness without being too dark. Really sets the tone.
Our server was pleasant and not too overbearing,. She checked in with us but wasn't super pushy, which I appreciated. I ordered the Dad Bod drink. I love matcha and seeing a matcha infused cocktail was so cool, but there was something bitter in the cocktail that didn't sit well with me. My friend ordered the Scout Master Kevin. I thought the presentation was a bit odd and he liked the drink and that's what matters!

We popped in recently just after opening. The team were amazing and the cocktails brilliant. Really enjoyed a flight of local whiskeys as well. Would really recommend.

Absolutely incredible. Shame and Regret has the BEST vibes if you're looking for a Gothic speakeasy downtown. The food is divine and the drinks are the bomb. I cannot recommend this place enough especially if you're visiting and love a unique experience. It's a little busy so you will need to raise you voice to talk but the vibes are immaculate. Please come here!

I used to love this spot for late night snacks and drinks but there was nothing on the new menu I wanted to eat. Thankfully drinks are still good.

The ever changing seasonal drink menu is worth the trip every single time. Extremely talented staff, Amazing owner, great comfortable seating, what more can you ask for? Definitely one to visit while downtown.

Awesome cocktail bar. Emma was our server and she was awesome. I tried the floral fixation mocktail - so good. I love that it was actually the size of a regular cocktail instead of a big goblet of juice like most mocktails. The decor and vibe is memorable and we would absolutely visit again!

I just visited this bar for the first time, and it was a great experience. The cocktail I tried was fantastic, it was so good (Home Before Sunrise I think) - I decided to order a second one, though initially I'd planned on just having one drink. It was so nice, I had to order another one haha.

Highly recommend, the service is quick, the atmosphere is nice, and the decor is pretty cool.
I will definitely be back later.

Here's a hidden gem for great energy and chill'axin. I enjoyed watching the magic happen between the hostess; servers; and bartenders. Getting slammed with orders and the coordination between these amazing and hardworking ladies was so telling to the positive work culture. There were smiles all around and joyful energy. No regrets walking down the well lit alley to enter. Well done 👏
