Sheldon's Luncheonette

Small restaurant, very cramped, mediocre food and very rude employees.
Cute for a small family business, but the folks that work there need to be better trained n customer service.

Perfect for solo visits or catching up with a friend.

We have been going to Sheldon's from NM for over 40 years on our way to the Springs and Denver and back. This was a neighborhood diner for us back in the day when we had family in the Springs. We were there again on Jun 18th 2025. Nothing has changed! The staff and diner are still amazing! The customers are always treated like family. Definitely a hidden gem! Why isn't this on DDD?

Been a quite a while since I’ve been here, but every time I come with friends or family, we would typically come here!!! The food is always on point never you could definitely tell him that it’s made from scratch in homemade which is pretty rare nowadays!!! Also, that pancake is huge as hell!!! lol

Feels like your own home with just many people in it It is one of my favorite places to go in town It's kind of just your mom's kitchen with her serving everybody and the food top notch

We live in DEN, & were visiting CO Springs, We just wanted a break so we drove and stayed over night. We wanted real food (not the bs they serve for breakfast at the inn or IHOP...). Lucky enough, I found Sheldon's.

Tiny hole in the wall, but those are normally the best. You want a good breakfast or lunch, definitely make this one of your stops. Food, service... I still have their menu on my counter! [Shout out to you chef's ;) ... And owners I suppose ;)] Cheers!

P.S. Did I mention, we were in CO Springs only 2 nights, and hubby wanted something real to eat. That's when we found this pearl. We had Sheldon's for bf & lunch both days. Can't stop obsessing ;)🙄🥰

This place is truly a piece of Americana in my opinion. It’s an old fashioned type feel of a diner where there’s nothing flashy and there’s no frills, just amazing coffee, food and service at a very decent price. It’s full of “regulars” who turn and look at the door when it opens because they are probably looking for their friends, but it’s not threatening at all. The waitresses will have your drink for you almost as quickly as you sit down and they make sure your coffee stays fresh. This place makes me reminisce for my childhood, back before chain restaurants took over everything. I get so excited to go here, it’s the absolute best. Try the “Jan’s Special” when you go, or their breakfast burrito. Both amazing!
