Wow! Raj and his team at Shri Ganesh are adding tremendous value to the Colorado Springs culinary scene—one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! We went out for a birthday celebration, and let’s just say I didn’t hold back on ordering. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: Vegetable Samosa, Chana Chaat, Butter Chicken Makhani, Salmon Saag, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi, and Gajarka Halwa (a carrot dessert). Every single dish was fantastic! The samosas were massive and beautifully prepared. Chana Chaat was a new experience for me, but the chickpeas were flavorful and truly unique. Both curries were the best I’ve had at a restaurant—bursting with flavor and just the right amount of heat. Notably, the salmon portions were generous and perfectly prepared. The Gajarka Halwa was also new to me, but it provided the perfect touch of sweetness to wrap up the meal. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place more. The food is phenomenal, with every dish hitting the mark. The service was great—Raj waited on us himself and offered helpful recommendations. The atmosphere was wonderful too; it’s a spacious spot, so it never felt crowded. Plus, Shri Ganesh is locally owned, and running a restaurant is no small feat. With so many chain restaurants in Colorado Springs, supporting local gems like this is so important. It’s the kind of place our community should support for elevating our culinary scene. Shri Ganesh absolutely earns all the positive reviews it’s received. I’ll definitely be back, and I want to thank Raj and his team for bringing such an amazing restaurant to the Springs!

I didn't check the previous reviews done by indian people. This restaurant has no taste on food. I ordered a medium spicy food and it burned the kids taste buds. OMG. Who will add cheese on Goat Briyani?. If you guys don't know how to cook a tasty Briyani, please come and visit some South Indian restaurants.
I also ordered a Parotta. The description said layered parotta. lol. They didn't even give us gravy for that . The rate was 6.50 USD. RAITA came in a super small cup.
I won't recommend this restaurant to any Indian people.

I had a very bitter experience with this restaurant..I have ordered food for the worth of $123 and food was really bad..when called the restaurant and gave the feedback the answer was shocking. The person on the call said they want to make dollars and they are not bothered about quality of food..This is the must not try restaurant in colorado...

The food is good, but overall we were disappointed. First, the food itself is generally well prepared. The only exception was the lamb curry that we had. The curry sauce was unlike anything we've ever tasted before and not nearly as good as other curries that I've had, including in Indian friends' homes.

The portions were also very disappointing. Do not expect to get any more than two servings out of each dish, which are not inexpensive. And by two servings I mean you get one and your companion gets one. Don't expect a family of four to have enough to reasonably share, even though it is served family style.

Finally, the service left a lot to be desired. It felt like we were always rushed to move onto the next course and it got to a point where I had to tell them to slow down. The owner also energetically recommends his own hot sauce, asking us more than once if we had tasted it.

All in all, not the best experience, especially for the price.

Great food, but very expensive. Lunch for 1 person, one meal, water, and an order of naan.. bill was over $30 and portions are small.

We absolutely love this place! The food and service has always been excellent! Raj is always helpful and kind. He makes great hot sauce, pickled lime, and pickled chili's that he sells in jars. They are so great and packed with flavor with just the right amount of heat! We've never had bad food or service here and it's always a pleasure to eat there. I highly recommend going here and often. You can order something different every time and know it will be delicious.

Outstanding food. We eat Indian cuisine in many different places and this is amongst the best. As a point of comparison, two staple items, saag paneer and garlic basil naan were the best we’ve had anywhere. The lamb samosas were BIG, easily shared by two. The staff were very friendly. We like a bit of heat, but not so much as to be distracting. Medium heat was good for us and would recommend the mild+ for those who don’t claim to “like it hot”. Highly recommend this restaurant, worth the drive if you’re staying anywhere up and down I-25 in COS.
