Susie's Westside Café

Great short order restaurant!

We visited several times and had an amazing experience and enjoyed some delicious food!

This is a small old cafe. My girlfriends and I like to stop and eat after a morning hike. We usually have biscuits and gravy.

Huge portions, pancakes are excellent 👍

My gf had to ask for her drip coffee 3x (remind them twice) just to get it, biscuits were undercooked (don't know how) and the place was ran down right next to a saloon bar . Wouldn't come back if you paid me to lol .

This diner is mis managed I think. The flow of the restaurant needs to be fixed expanded and needs a kitchen and staff overhaul. It started off with multiple drink orders mess ups that led to missing food orders and the ability to get staff attention and the amount of time it took to get our food(roughly 30 min for two). Food wasn't bad, just plain. A few simple fixes and this diner could be a hole in the wall.

Had breakfast here and it was delicious. Not much seating so a little wait may happen.

This was our first time here! The food was delicious. My husband had the bandito skillet with half green chili and half gravy. I had the sunrise skillet with green chili and both were so good. We also had the pancakes. We sat at the bar and were mesmerized watching the chef cooking. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I stopped in attempting to have lunch on my already limited break from work I asked if my food could be prepared and eaten in my limited time and I was assured it was no problem. Much to my surprise my food was completed with haste and it was outstanding, green chili was on the mild side which is the only complaint I could really have, but I'm sure for most people that's perfect. Tables all got attention as needed and the entire staff clearly know what they are doing. Big ups to Susie's Westside cafe!

We could tell when we met her that Susie takes a lot of pride in serving her customers the best in American-style, home-cooked meals. I had the Cali-Benedict and my husband got the breakfast skillet. All was delicious. We didn't need to wait long at all, and the staff was courteous and friendly. Susie was hands-on every step of the way, making sure we were happy.
