Tokyo Joe's - CS University Village

Had an amazing experience at Tokyo Joe’s! Nick and Katie both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nick was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our order was taken care of quickly and accurately. Katie was just as helpful, providing outstanding customer service with a great attitude and making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

It’s clear they both genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work. The food was great, but the service from Nick and Katie is what really made the experience stand out. Highly recommend this location and look forward to coming back!

I’ve never before encountered a poke bowl that included an avocado peel complete with produce sticker, but it’s nice to see a restaurant committed to serving ingredients farm-to-table with absolutely no intermediary steps whatsoever.

My chicken bowl contained roughly eleven molecules of chicken buried beneath what appeared to be an emergency reserve stockpile of rice noodles. The spring rolls looked like shrimp and carrots had been reluctantly stuffed into a used condom and abandoned halfway through the process.

Meanwhile, the dining room soundtrack was delivered through a bass speaker that sounded like it had been recovered from a 2004 Honda Civic submerged in a lake.

Oddly enough, the woman at the counter was delightful, which only deepened the mystery of what exactly is happening in the kitchen.

$18 for a bowl and they want tips now. Used to be healthy food at a decent price, now its overpriced and tastes awful.

Normally pretty great, but today I got rice for the first time and if you are crunchy rice lover then this is for you. But crunchy rice is not my thing.

I have been coming to Tokyo Joes for about 13 years. I really love the food. Lately I have been coming to the N Nevada location. The staff here are good sometimes. Every once in a while I will come in and be greeted with warmth and kindness. Most of the time the staff act like I’m a huge burden to their day. No smile no warmth. Just bluntness and mumbling. I greatly appreciate when staff at restaurants are kind and not cold. It makes me feel like I need to leave as soon as possible and apologize for existing when I walk in. The food is great so I’ll keep coming back but thought upper management should know that some of your staff are mid.

Usually my go to restaurant but when I ordered takeout this time they gave me Poke bowl soup, mind you I didn’t ask for extra sauce. I wonder what the sodium level on this “bowl” is.

The group of employees are good. They kept my lost purse for me for a day. Everything was still in the purse. My appreciation is high. The food is good! Thank you 😊

This is hands down my favorite place to eat. Less expensive and healthier than even the grocery store. Everything is always fresh, wild caught, delicious delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful and happy to see you. The atmosphere is perfect. Fresh, healthy, cheap, friendly... Doesn't get any better than this. Ask for Jordan, he knows it all. Try the addictive green dragon sauce. OMG. IT'S ALL AMAZING.

Got food poisoning after eating a steak bowl. Will not be coming here again.

The food was mediocre at best if you prefer select sushi, would not recommend this place. Paid for the extra options in my dish didn’t get them….have had this happen at a few place in Colorado check meals and verify.
