So the food and atmosphere were top notch. Wine was amazing. But the service was incredibly frustrating. We told them we had a show at 7:30 p and was on a time crunch. It’s almost as if they made sure not to check in with us on purpose because of this haha. Our waitress spent 20 minutes on finding the right wine for another table but rarely checked in, didn’t bring more bread that we asked for, and just gave up on us completely. We've dined at V & W 5 times in the past 9 months or so. First time was fantastic so we brought family and had a great dining experience for our 2nd and 3rd times. Unfortunately the wheels came off for our 4th visit late 2025 - service was lackluster and we had to send one entree back because it was heavily oversalted - the server seemed to be annoyed and we decided we'd never go back again. Phenomenal end to our anniversary evening. Carlos took great care of us with some tasty mixed drinks and delicious wine pairings. I found a new favorite wine with the Erme Vermintino, and the bison carpaccio was out of this world with perfect crostinis (can't emphasize enough how both were phenomenal), and both the lemon tart and the sticky date toffee pudding were excellent.
