Viva El Taco Mexican Food

Does Viva El Taco have the BEST handheld bacon breakfast burrito in town? Maybe. I know Alfonso's is gonna get some real and appreciated love for the southside of town, but if you're on North Academy, Viva El Taco is worth the stop for a breakfast burrito. The service is always fast and polite. The food is banging. Prices are reasonable. The next time you need a handheld breakfast burrito, give these guys a try.

The tacos were flavorful, portions were generous, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Service was friendly and the food came out fresh and hot. The seating area was a little crowded during lunch rush, but I’d still definitely come back to try more from the menu.

Food is a bit bland. Smothered burritos are from store bought salsa, but meat lacks flavor and is a bit dry.
Quessabirra tacos are good, could use more flavor but loved the crunchyness of the toritlla.

Ordered 2 tacos, guacamole is EXTRA but if you dnt know that, they will automatically add it and bill you. SO YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM NOT TO.
Overall food is ok, but advantageous is not ok so 1 star

ive been here 3 times and will keep coming back; the food is consistently delicious, the staff is very friendly and inviting, and its cheap ! you can expect quality food at a good price here

I come here pretty often and always get the steak quesadilla I love how they're open 24 hours so like when I'm out doing Uber Eats deliveries when I'm hungry this place is a great place to come to get some good food at like 3:00 a.m. LOL.

The food is awful! Dry and no flavor. Got enchiladas and the chicken is huge in it, super dry, just awful but I guess thats why they are the cheapest for enchiladas smh. You get what you pay for

This is the my family’s new favorite spot. Most places like this the food is too salty, but not the case here. They are really kind polite and care about the food they serve. I highly recommend this place.
