A true diamond in the rough of international cuisine in Colorado Springs. Yong's has a simple menu of incredibly complex Korean dishes, expertly prepared fresh to order. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my to-go order included a banchan box with all the sides one would expect at a full service Korean restaurant. This place has earned a very strong position in my takeout rotation.
The banchan options were so unique and super good, theyโre unlimited too!! I forget to take pictures because I was too busy eating ๐. My bf and I are from Denver and we were not expecting the food to be the best Korean food weโve ever had. Definitely recommend the cheese tteobokki and the Korean potatoes. The service there was also super nice and attentive. We might just have to make the 1 1/2 hour drive just for this place.
Me and a couple of pals ordered kimchi jjigae, seolleongtang, and a spicy bulgogi bowl. I'm so happy there was seolleongtang available here. Service was great! I'm sad it's not closer to where I reside. The flavors were delicious! The food makes me miss my parents who cooked Korean food regularly. ๊ฐ์ฌํฉ๋๋ค~~ ์๋จน์์ต๋๋ค! ๐๐ปโค๏ธ
