Visited the area for over a week, and this was the first place we tried. Great people, food, and experience. It’s very rare that you find such kindness these days, and this family made us feel at home from the jump; We even went back to eat before we left. Will definitely be returning for future trips.
Stopped for lunch at MJ's Cafe 10 minutes before they closed and they very graciously seated us anyway. The food is all homemade and delicious! We ordered chicken strips, a patty melt, fried mushrooms and a couple of perk tenderloin sandwiches! All of the items were hand-breaded and cooked perfectly! Excellent comfort food. Our hamburger was delicious. Don't know about the other dishes, but the green chili tasted homemade. It was very good. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. MJ's has good diner vibes. Nothing special, but clean and homey.
