I am a picky coffee drinker and Coffee Lab exceeded expectations. Smooth and delicious coffee! Wish I could have it every morning!

Small space but very friendly staff and delicious coffee. If you're staying at one of the nearby condos you can buy a bag of First Ascent whole bean coffee and they'll grind it for you.

You often have to compromise on quality at a ski village, but not here. Good coffee and pastries, Torani selection and local gifts. Nice atmosphere with a lush array of plants. I love the Venn diagram along with a graphical representation of milk proportions in the range of coffee drinks from espresso to latte.

Tamale was tasty, hot chocolate was mid (just chocolate syrup and steamed milk)

First ascent local coffee. Quality food and teas. Great convenient location at Mountaineer Square. Bright natural light. Lots of plants and local artisan jewelry for sale. I love this place.

Good coffee, service was fast. And a nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere to enjoy the coffee. Hot chocolate was very good as well.

Not sure what the hype is all about? The coffee was marginal at best, at a premium price. T-Bar or Camp Coffee have way better coffee for less.

I've been an amateur (home) roaster and espresso connoisseur for decades. I've pulled shots on Rancilio, Gaggia and my current, Flair 58. I know my beans and espresso.I was visiting CB and decided to do a coffee crawl of a few coffee houses that were recommended to me. From all of them, I ordered a cappuccino to evaluate how well the espresso cut through the milk and the froth quality.Coffee Lab was near the top but not at the top for me. My capp was very good. The espresso cut through the milk and the froth quality and temp were up there as well. Overall, a very drinkable beverage. When I asked if I could have my capp in a ceramic mug with latte art, the young man behind the counter did not hesitate, and sheepishly admitted he was not that good but would try. His heart was admirable (and much better than any art I do at home). The location was a bit challenging for someone from out of town to find, but inside, I found it cozy and inviting.I found the price a bit higher than what I'm used to coming from a metropolitan city with high cost of living. But I get that it's Mt. CB.

Everything is great here (food, coffee, service).I took 2 stars away because a 12 oz latte isn't worth $8. Since when did CB become more expensive than Aspen, Vail, and Telluride?

Breakfast burritos are cheap gas station quality. Looks like they are made off site or from grocery store and heated. They are nothing like the picture on website.Everything else is good, but the breakfast burritos will ruin your day and make you lose hope in humanity.

Coffe was good. For a tiny spot they have a decent number of options for food. Prices are a little high, but reasonable for the surroundings.
