Service is great. Food is mediocre at best. Guacamole was very disappointing. Drinks were decent. The patio and live music are the best part, everything else is forgettable

Wait staff never came to our table. We left and went to Crested Butte

Food was fine. I ordered fajitas and it was small. Left still hungry. So if you're hungry order your own and don't share because portion size will be more appetizer than a meal. Margaritas are small and more ice than Margarita. It's not worth the price you pay. I won't be back.

We came at around 6:30 last night and quickly realized that unfortunately the only two people working to serve the whole restaurant were one of the managers and our server Katelyn. She gave us a heads up on the expectation for the wait, but our enchiladas still came quick and hot and we were checked on multiple times during our visit. They were out of the lime juice needed for my husband's margarita, but quickly offered another drink for the same price and gave us a coupon for a free margarita later. Both staff members were awesome in making sure everyone was taken care of despite all their calloffs, and the atmosphere was comfortable and tidy.

Terrible, overpriced food and the service was just as bad. Do not waste your money here.

We were staying at Elevation and went to Jose's as we wanted mexican food and it was close. We waited at the front for 15 minutes before someone told us it was self seating.
We sat on the patio and we're greeted pretty quick. We ordered a kid's beef quesadilla and fajitas. Our food came out before our boy's which weird and when it came it was just a cheese quesadilla. The fajitas were very small for 28$ and came with corn tortillas. We didn't know what it came with so we asked for flour tortillas. The server forgot about the tortillas for about 15 minutes.
The place was nice and the atmosphere was good but it is not well organized and the food is not worth the price. The servers were not bad but there are much better places to eat in Crested Butte.

Went up to Crested Butte for the weekend and we’re walking around the plaza. Came across Jose’s and decided to stop by for some brunch. We sat there for 20 minutes without anyone greeting us. I had gone in twice - 1) to check to see if we had to be seated and 2) to ask if we had to order inside since no one greeted us. Keep in mind there were two servers we saw come in and out and no one attended us

When I finally went in the second time, I was told by the bartender that someone should’ve been out there. When she finally got the server for outside, he tells me breakfast stopped being served 10 min prior (we’d been outside for 20 minutes & had checked in with the bar tender about eating). Sad to say we left very disappointed with the service.

I give Jose’s a 5 ⭐️ review just for the patio experience tonight !!!
Nice live music with amazing people and views ! The bartender was not only lovely she can make a bad ass Margarita!!!
Had the nachos and they were just ok but because of the service the drinks the people and music I’d come here again hands down ?
If you’re in the village don’t hesitate to at least stop in for a couple margs and enjoy being in paradise.

Great service. Pretty good tacos and margaritas. There was a good singer playing. They allow dogs on the patio

Totally disappointed in the chicken fajitas. There wasn’t enough for even 2 and the chicken was bland. Wouldn’t go back for food. Drinks maybe. And I paid $28 for the fajitas.

Ouch. $80 for one order of queso, churros, and some fajitas that didn’t even come with rice and beans. Literally just meat on a flour tortilla. Underwhelming, to say the least.

Great atmosphere and service. Drinks are good too. But they discontinued my favorite menu item, their wonderful shrimp cocktail. The food we ordered arrived lukewarm, rather than hot. But the patio and location can't be beat. We will go back.

Our group of seven was impressed with the quality of our food, the speedy service and the excellent wait staff. To top it off Julian Young Trio was playing on the patio and...the view!

Overpriced and underwhelming is how I’d describe this restaurant. Guacamole was $13 for a small bowl and some grocery store chips. Tacos were tasteless on dry broken corn tortillas, completely uninspired with no seasoning or unique toppings. We tried to order a final happy hour drink at 5:59pm and were told no (Happy Hour ends at 6pm). I would consider going here for a drink or a beer but would never order food here again.

Y’all. This restaurant is…not great for food. However, it’s great for vibes right off the ski hill. So…if you’re going for convenience and a great spot to hang out, you can get it. But if you’re going for something delicious? You’ll be disappointed. The food is exceedingly mediocre at best. Also, very expensive for what you’re getting.
