If you’re into rum and rum-based drinkings, this place definitely needs your attention. Note that they only sell one brand of rum, Montanya’s, of course. The drinks were fantastic, meticulously made and a pleasure to drink. Like other places in town, this one fills up quickly. Abbie, our bartender, was courteous and made us fantastic cocktails. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Such a great experience. Amazing drinks. Food was good but very pricey for what it was. Drinks were incredible

Still great choices and atmosphere but we do miss the hot buttered rum ?

Wow. Rum, honestly, not my go to spirit, but had to try this great cocktail bar and so glad I did. Since I prefer more sour/bitter cocktails over sweet, I was recommended to try the Rum sour with the Exclusiva rum, which ages for a couple years in old wine barrels. simply put, one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. And loved we were able to grab one to go so we could enjoy back in our cabin as well!

We had great memories from this place years ago. New owners are Amazing and even better memories tonight! We definitely will be back for the exquisitely crafted drinks and even better hospitality. All gluten free was a huge plus and the artichoke dip was so good, we could have eaten a whole lot more.

Best local craft rum place!

One of the highlights of crested butte. Perfect place to have some cocktails and relax. Love the pineapple habanero infused rum!

Outstanding! Forget about tropical rum drinks. This rum is on par with bourbon and whiskey distilleries and their craft drinks are exceptional.
Excellent Rums, hit the spot & staff are very friendly. Great Place to stop in!

Finding this place is Crested Butte was definitely highlight visiting the town. While there for a conference, my coworkers and I made a reservation since we saw how crowded it was the day before. The drinks definitely didn't disappoint! I got the Kokomo which has a nice balance of sweet and sour. We also got a charcuterie board which was portioned nicely. If you're taking a trek up there, please go support them!

I love coming to Montanya when we visit Crested Butte! We hiked West Maroon Pass from Aspen and wanted to celebrate finishing. We stayed for two rounds - for the first round of drinks, I got the Kokomo (Platino rum, cream of coconut, fresh ginger, mint, coconut water, and fresh-squeezed lemon and lime). Compared to the other drinks the table got, including the maharaja and smoke show (both delicious), mine was pretty tame but I loved the creaminess of the coconut. For the second round, I got the rum sour with passion fruit - delicious! I was torn between that and the maple old fashioned, but our server was very helpful in narrowing down. I do miss the old Montanya location a block up the street - that location was a lot more down to earth/local feeling (I liked the top floor where you could sit and look at the equipment/first floor), and this new location feels more cultivated to be a bougie cocktail bar. But I'll keep coming back because the cocktails are absolutely delicious!

I don't even like rum usually and these cocktails were great. They were creative and not too sweet, which is key for me. They had great GF DF options, which was a bit harder at other places in Crested Butte, so I was appreciative of that. Will definitely be back!

Great looking place but the staff obviously aren’t into patrons or even pretending to be. We sat at the bar and there were 4 staff members who wouldn’t make eye contact, smile or interact with the people there trying to have a good time and support a local business. After we left we spoke with 2 other employees at different shops who both stated that the service has gone downhill and they hear how bad it is all the time from other tourists. Do yourself a favor and try someplace else.
